All systems involving the use of holes drilled in the machine or welding are strictly forbidden.     Section A: Getting Started This manual describes the family of CURO machines manufactured prior to 2024 and includes the CURO 2, CURO 8, CURO 12, and CURO 16 machines (collectively referred to as ‘CURO’ throughout this manual). This manual is intended to facilitate the familiarization process, utilizing the intended application capabilities.

    The machine/equipment may not be used for more than 20 years without an overhaul of the safety components. If the machine is to be de-commissioned and sold, please contact TOMRA for advice on the best current methodology. A6. This information is based on TOMRA’s internal risk assessments, the relevant technical rules, and relevant standards.

    The CURO family of machines are supplied with 1-2 e-stop buttons, located on the main control monitor and an additional one on the button box of the Packaging / Box Conveyor (excluding the CURO 2 Packaging Conveyor). If the CURO or any machines connected through line control are being worked on or near, the main isolator switch is the primary stopping method.

When set, the CURO 8 will communicate over ethernet with Tomra equipment fitted with Line Control. This option requires the FreshTracker Machine ID and line configuration to be set by a technician.
