Potential malfunction or damage to the product may occur if these instructions are disregarded. - Avoid locations where the air dryer will be in direct contact with wind or rain. (Avoid locations where relative humidity is 85% or more) - Avoid locations where water, water vapor, salt water, or oil may splash on the product.
DOC1108321 Chapter 3 Transportation and installation 3.2.2 Fixing of product - Mount the product on a flat and stable floor with no vibrations. - When installing the product, please ensure there is sufficient space for maintenance. If there is not enough space for maintenance, the product may not perform as expected or may break down.
DOC1108321 Chapter 3 Transportation and installation 3.2.3 Air piping ⚫ Connection of the inlet and outlet of compressed air should be made removable by using union and so on. ⚫ When an air fitting is connected with the body of the product, hold the pneumatic piping at the body with a pipe wrench and tighten.
DOC1108321 Chapter 3 Transportation and installation 3.2.4 Drain tube - A drain tube of 10mm O.D. is included as an accessory. The outlet end of the tube is released to atmosphere and lets the drain flow through the tube. (When customers prepare the drain tube, keep its length at 5m or less and the I.D. at 6.5mm or larger for correct operation of the auto drain) - Using the pressure of the compressed air, the drain will be discharged periodically.

The condensed water can be drained from the right side of the base of the product. Let condensate flow into a water outlet or install a drain pan, etc.

Wiring with the product energized is strictly prohibited. - Use a power supply suitable for the specifications of the product. - Supply power from a stable place, which is free from the effects of any surge.

DOC1108321 Chapter 3 Transportation and installation [A. Power supply cables wiring procedure] 1. Remove the front panel of the product. When lifting the front panel, be sure to hold the handle. 2. Pass the power supply cable through by using the cable fixture at the right bottom base of the product, and connect it to the terminal block.

Be sure to turn off the switch with lamp before wiring. 1) Disconnect the wires from no. 5 and 6 of the terminal block and mount the external switch. - The external switch used for remote control should be an alternate type (no voltage dry contact).

Remove the seal tape completely after detaching the piping.

If the product is restarted within 3 minutes after being stopped, the protection circuit will be activated, and the dryer will not start.

CAUTION - Wear protective goggles or mask during air blow. 5.2.2 Auto drain maintenance DANGER - Do not remove the auto drain with the air pressure remaining internally.

DOC1108321 Chapter 5 Checks and Maintenance As a preventive maintenance, press the flush button of the heavy-duty auto drain regularly to clean the discharge valve (for flushing). If operation failure occurs due to heavy dirt after the flushing, disassemble the auto drain and clean inside.

DOC1108321 Chapter 5 Checks and Maintenance 【Disassembly and cleaning of auto drain】 CAUTION - Do not use liquids other than neutral detergent for cleaning.Also, never disassemble the draining mechanism. In the worst case, it will be impossible to reuse it. - Tighten the bolts without a gap between the body and housing.If they are forcibly tightened with the gap remaining, the parts can be damaged.
