1. You may find the installation, maintenance, repair, cleaning information about the device,

the list of spare parts of the device, and the necessary information for ordering spare

parts that can be supplied by authorized service http://samsung.com/support or call

2. The model code is labelled on the outer side of your product.

- You can check the model code and version on the barcode label at the bottom left of

the product.

3. For replacement parts, make sure the part name matches that of the illustration in this

manual.

- User-serviceable parts are limited to handles (some models only), gaskets, drawers, and

hinges.

Page 3: Gasket Replacement
Gasket replacement CAUTION Make sure you firmly attach the gasket. Otherwise, cold air from the refrigerator may leak. To remove the gasket Open the door and remove the gasket from the door. To replace the gasket Attach a new gasket to the refrigerator door. Make sure there is no gap between the new gasket and the door.
Page 4 Drawer replacement CAUTION Check that the drawer is inserted properly into the rail during assembly. To remove the drawers Gently lift up the front of the drawer and slide out. It is recommended to remove the door bins before removing the drawer. This is to prevent damage to the door bins.
Page 5 Hinge replacement To replace the hinges, you must remove the doors first. CAUTION • When removing the doors, take extreme caution because the doors are heavy. • Before replacing the hinges, put a soft pad such as cardboard on the floor to prevent scratches on the door when you place the doors down.
Page 6 To replace the hinges Disconnect the water line CAUTION • Make sure the water hoses are connected with matching colours. (only for Dispenser model) • To prevent water leaks, each water hose must be inserted fully to the centre of the transparent coupler.
Page 7 4. Gently draw up the clamp in several steps. To prevent finger injuries, do not apply a sudden force to the clamp. 5. Pull up the clamp to remove. 6. Open the door by 90 degrees. While holding the door, remove the top hinge. 7.
Page 8 Detach the freezer doors CAUTION • Be sure to remove the fridge doors before removing the freezer doors. • Use caution when disconnecting the bottom connectors. 1. With the freezer door open, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw holding the cover (A) of the adjustable leg.
Page 9 4. Pull out the hinge shaft, and then push the door in the arrow direction to detach. 5. Tilt the door to the front, and then gently lift it up to remove. Be careful not to touch the middle hinge, which may damage the door.
Page 10 Hinge Low 1. Open the freezer compartment door and remove the screw fixing the hinge cover (1) at the bottom with the (+) screw driver. CAUTION Disassemble the freezer door only after disassembling the fridge door. HINGE LOW L HINGE LOW R 2.
Page 11 4. Tilt the freezer compartment door forward so that it does not interfere with the middle hinge and then lift the door up to separate it completely. CAUTION Take care not to drop the door. 5. Remove the 2 bolts (5, 6) with a 10 mm socket wrench and then separate the lower hinge.
