7. ATAPI Packet Command Specification
The SPREV bit is set to ONE indicating the Device supports SPACE in the reverse direction.
The MPF bit is set indicating the Device supports multiple partition format.
The CMPRS bit is set indicating the Device supports data compression.
The ECC bit is set indicating the Device performs error correction.
The DISCONNECT bit is cleared to ZERO indicating the Device cannot efficiently break up data transfers without
the need to restrict transfer lengths to the Continuous Transfer Limit.
The EJECT bit is set indicating the Device can mechanically unload the volume with the LOAD/UNLOAD
command.
The PREVENT bit is cleared indicating the Device does not default in the Prevent state after power up.
If the LOCKED bit is set, the volume is locked.
The LOCK bit is set indicating the Device supports locking the volume using the ALLOW/PREVENT MEDIUM
REMOVAL command.
The BLK1024 bit is set indicating the Device is capable of using a 1024 byte block size.
Tthe BLK512 bit is set indicating the Device is capable of using a 512 byte block size.
The Continuous Transfer Limit field indicates the number of blocks for the current block size that can be
transferred without delay due to a buffer limitation. Transfers restricted to this size when DISCONNECT is set to
zero will result in efficient use of the bus.
The Buffer Size is an estimate in 512 byte increments of the read and write buffer size.
