  • Page 5 SAFETY OVERVIEW • NEVER operate the generator in an explosive atmosphere, near combustible materials or where ventilation is not sufficient to carry away exhaust fumes. Exhaust fumes can cause serious injury or death. • If you start to feel sick, dizzy, or weak while using a generator, get to fresh air RIGHT AWAY.
  • Page 6 SAFETY OVERVIEW This product has been designed with internal grounding or floating bonded neutral. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. DANGER - Improper grounding can result in a risk of electrocution. Check with a qualified electrician for your local requirements if you are in doubt as to whether the unit is properly grounded.
  • Page 7 SAFETY OVERVIEW • Do not operate in rain, in wet or damp conditions, or with wet hands. The operator may suffer severe electric shock if the generator is wet due to rain or snow. If wet, wipe and dry it well before starting. Do not pour water directly over the generator, nor wash it with water.

    ASSEMBLY SUPPORT FOOT INSTALLATION 1. Align the two holes on the support foot with the two holes on the bottom of the frame. Place two bolts through the support foot hole and the frame hole. 2. Fasten the nut to the bolt, tighten with a wrench.

    OUTLET FUNCTION IF THE VOLTAGE SWITCH IS SET TO 120V ONLY Set the voltage switch to “120V ONLY” Output voltage 120V current 20A. 120V (Voltage) X 20A (Current)= 2400W (Output Power) Output voltage can only be 120V and the current can only be 30A. 120V (Voltage) X 30A (Current)= 3600W (Output Power) attention: The total power output of the socket must not exceed the rated power of the generator.

    PRE-OPERATION SAFETY & INSPECTION PROCEDURES REFUELING: DANGER - GASOLINE IS HIGHLY FLAMMABLE AND TOXIC. DO NOT OVERFILL THE FUEL TANK. TIGHTEN FUEL CAP ONCE YOU HAVE REFILLED THE MACHINE. Remove the fuel tank cap and add at least 87 octane gasoline. ATTENTION - IF YOU SPILL FUEL WHILE REFILLING THE UNIT, BE SURE TO WIPE UP AND EXCESS FUEL THAT MAY HAVE SPILLED.

    OPERATION OPTIMAL ENVIRONMENT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE -20ºC to 40ºC OPTIMAL HUMIDITY Below 95% Below 1,500m (At regions above 1,000m the unit OPTIMAL ALTITUDE will generate less power) In certain environments, total output power can be affected. • Every 5ºC increase in ambient temperature above optimal will reduce your units output by ~2%.

    OPERATION BEFORE CONNECTING POWER • Make sure all electrical equipment, including wires and plugs, are in good condition before connecting to the generator. • Make sure all loads driven by the generator are within the rated load range. • Ensure the connected load is within the rated range for current.     SPARK PLUG REPLACEMENT WARNING: ALWAYS SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE. IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE ENGINE FROM STARTING, REMOVE THE SPARK PLUG CAP FROM THE SPARK PLUG. The spark plug is an important part of the generator, which must be inspected regularly.
