Garage Door Opener
Garage Door Opener

  1. While the car is ON, hold the handheld garage door transmitter 1-3 inches from the HomeLink ® button you want to program in the vehicle.
  2. Push and hold both the HomeLink ® button being programmed and the button on the garage door transmitter.

TO ERASE ALL SET CHANNELS:
Push and hold the two outside HomeLink ® buttons for 20 seconds until the orange indicator flashes. An individual channel cannot be erased.

ROLLING OR NON-ROLLING?
Check your garage door opener motor in your garage for a "LEARN" or "TRAIN" button by the hanging antenna. If you have one of these, you have a Rolling Code garage door opener.

  1. For Non-Rolling Code garage door openers, watch for the indicator light to go constant.
    For Rolling Code garage door openers, watch for the indicator light to go from a slow blink to blinking rapidly.
  2. For Rolling Code garage door openers only, firmly push and release the "LEARN" or "TRAIN" button on your garage door opener motor in your garage, then push the HomeLink ® button in your vehicle three times (holding the button for two seconds each time).
  3. If the programming was successful, your garage door should open and close with your chosen HomeLink® button.

Pair a Phone

  1. Make sure Bluetooth ® is enabled on your mobile device
  2. With the vehicle in the ON/RUN position, press the Phone button on the vehicle's touchscreen menu bar
  3. Press "Device Manager"
  4. Press "Add Device"
  5. Follow the prompts on your phone and on the touchscreen

Troubleshooting

  1. Perform a reset by holding the power button on the radio for 15 seconds
  2. Reboot your phone
  3. Remove the paired phone
  4. Follow the Pair a Phone steps above to set up phone

Connect your smartphone to the media USB port or pair your smartphone within Device Manager.
The Android Auto TM or Apple CarPlay ® icon will replace the phone icon on the touchscreen.

KEEP IN MIND:

For Android TM Users, if the Android Auto TM app was not previously downloaded, it will download the first time you plug in your device.
For Apple ® Users, Apple CarPlay ® is only compatible with iPhone or later and requires Siri being enabled in Settings.

  1. Press "Device Manager" on the touchscreen.
  2. Press the Settings gear icon next to the phone or device you would like to remove.
  3. Press "Delete Device". The device should be removed.
  4. On your phone's Bluetooth ® or Setup menu, remove the saved Uconnect radio.

  1. Press "Apps" on the touchscreen.
  2. Press "Activate Services".
  3. Press "Activate Now".
  4. There are two ways to activate: via email or via an agent. On the next screen, you can either enter your name and email, or press "Call An Agent" to directly speak with a certified agent. If you previously registered for Connected Services at the dealer, you only need to enter your email and PIN to activate Connected Services on your vehicle.
  5. Download the Dodge Mobile App from the Google Play Store or Apple ® App Store ® for access to remote commands. Log in with your account information.

Wireless Charging Pad
The wireless charging pad is equipped with an anti-slip mat to hold your mobile phone in place, and an LED indicator light.

LED INDICATOR STATUS
No Light: Charging pad is idle or searching for a device.
Blue Light: Device is detected and is charging.
Red Light/Flashing: Internal error, or foreign object is detected.
Green Light: Device has completed battery charging (if device is equipped to transmit this information).

KEEP IN MIND:

  • The charging pad will not work if any door is open, regardless if the engine is running.
  • Having multiple applications open on the phone will reduce charging efficiency.
  • In the event the phone starts to overheat, the phone may shut down during the charging process.

For the wireless pad to work properly:
Remove the phone's protective case and place the phone within the outline shown on the pad.

USE YOUR CHARGING PAD AND SAFETY FEATURES

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) With Mitigation & Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

FCW with Mitigation can provide both audible and visual warnings, and may also apply a brake jerk to warn you of a potential frontal collision. The warnings and limited braking are intended to provide you with enough time to react, and avoid or mitigate a potential collision.
You can also use your touchscreen to turn FCW on or off or to adjust the system's sensitivity and active braking status.
Select between the following sensitivity settings:

  • Near
  • Medium
  • Far

Select between the following brake settings:

  • Warning & Braking
  • Off
  • Warning Only

KEEP IN MIND: The default settings are "Medium" and "Warning & Braking".

ESC enhances directional control and stability of the vehicle under various driving conditions by correcting oversteering or understeering of the vehicle by applying the brake of the appropriate wheels as well as temporarily reducing engine power.

ESC has two operating modes:
ESC On
This is the normal operating mode. Whenever the vehicle is started, the ESC system will be on.

Full Off
This mode may be useful if the vehicle becomes stuck and more wheel spin is needed. To turn off, put the vehicle in Sport Mode then push the ESC OFF button, located below the radio, for two seconds.

KEEP IN MIND: Push and hold the Power button on the radio's faceplate for a minimum of 15 seconds to reset the radio.

Using Android Auto ™ Or Apple CarPlay ®?
You can use Voice Recognition with Android Auto ™ and Apple CarPlay

  1. Activate Android Auto ™ or Apple CarPlay ® from "Device Manager" in Phone Mode. The respective icon will replace the Phone icon in the menu bar.
  2. Push and hold the Voice Recognition button to start a Voice session using Android Auto ™ or Apple CarPlay ®.

There may be an inconsistent volume between different audio sources.

YOUR UCONNECT DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION

Navigation
Accessing your Navigation unit is quick and simple. Press the Navigation icon on the Menu Bar of the radio screen. From here you can access certain icons and options for Navigation.

  • Planning A Route: You can search for a route using an address or a zip code.
  • Changing Your Route: Selecting the Options button in "Map View" will give different ways to change a route.
  • Points Of Interest: Using POI is as simple as selecting the POI category under the search bar. Some POI examples are Restaurants, Hotels, and Museums.
  • Favorites: Some examples of Favorites are "Recent Destinations" and a "Home" location that can be set up from the Navigation Main Menu.

Keyless Enter 'n Go ™ — Passive Entry & Hands-Free Liftgate
LOCK & UNLOCK YOUR VEHICLE WITH EASE

TO OPEN YOUR LIFTGATE:
Make sure your kicking motion is straight in-and-out, and within the activation zone. Please note, this feature is available only on vehicles equipped with Passive Entry.
TO OPEN YOUR LIFTGATE
Do not move your foot sideways or in a sweeping motion; the sensors may not detect the motion.

WITH YOUR KEY FOB ON YOUR PERSON:
Press the Passive Entry Button on the door handle, making sure not to grab the door handle, to lock the vehicle. Grab the door handle to unlock the vehicle.

LIFTGATE BUTTONS

  1. Passive Entry Button Press the Passive Entry button to the left of the liftgate release handle to lock all doors and the liftgate.
  2. Liftgate Release Grab the liftgate release handle to open the liftgate.

Active Driving Assist (ADA) System
COMBINES LANESENSE AND ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
INDICATOR LIGHT & INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY GLOW:

OFF System not turned on/enabled
WHITE
System is turned on/enabled, but is not actively steering the vehicle
GREEN
System detects driver attentiveness and is actively steering the vehicle
YELLOW
System detects driver inattentiveness and warns the driver to place hands on the steering wheel
RED
System still detects driver inattentiveness and still warns the driver to place hands on the steering wheel or the system will cancel

KEEP IN MIND: The ADA system requires the driver keep both hands on the steering wheel at all times.

Use the Thumbwheel to scroll up and down through the Menu options. Press the Thumbwheel to enter/exit the highlighted menu. Use the button on the end of the wiper/washer lever to change the display layout.
