IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are
present, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

2. To protect against risk of electrical hazards, do not immerse
the Waring Commercial Ice Crusher in water or other liquids.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
4. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
5. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
6. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
7. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it
is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, or
cleaning.
8. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or
disassembling, and before cleaning.
9. Avoid contacting moving parts. Never place fingers or other
utensils into feed or discharge areas.
10. Do not operate the Waring
any electrical equipment with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the unit malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return it to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
11. Do not use outdoors.
12. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.
