BEFORE USING YOUR OVEN
- Read all instruction included in this manual.
- Make sure the oven is unplugged and the Timer is in the "off" position.
- Wash all accessories in hot, soapy water.
- Thoroughly dry all accessories and re-assemble them in the oven. Plug the oven into outlet.
- After re-assembling your oven, run it at 4500 for approximately 15 minutes to eliminate any packing residue what may remain after shipping. This will also remove all traces of odor initially present.
PLEASE NOTE: Initial start-up operation may result in smell and smoke (about 15 minutes). This is normal and harmless. It is due to burning of the protective substance applied to the heating elements. - TEMPERATURE CONTROL: choose the desired temperature from 1500 to 4500 for cooking.
- HEATING SELECTION: air fry, bake, toast, roast, conv. bake, keep warm and broil.
- TIMER: Turn clockwise to activate a timer. A bell rings at the end of set time.
- INDICATOR LIGHT: It lights when timer is on.

Always be extremely careful when removing bake tray, wire rack, air fry mesh basket or any hot containers from a hot oven.
SHELF POSITIONS
NOTE: Certain foods may require different shelf positions depending on the recipe, size, amount of food to be cooked and personal taste. Use the following information as a guide only.
- There are 3 height positions that the wire rack or the bake/broil pan may be inserted.
- Use the upper shelf position for the BROIL function.
- The center shelf position is commonly used for TOAST and AIR FRYfunctions.
- Use the lower shelf position for BAKE, CONV BAKE, ROAST and KEEP WARM functions.

Never set the bake/broil pan directly onto the lower heating elements.
WEIGHT/SIZE RESTRICTIONS
- Food cooked on the shelf must fit comfortably in the Toaster Oven without touching either the lower or the upper heating elements.
- The Toaster Oven can cook up to a 4 lb. chicken or turkey and up to a 4 lb. roast.
- We suggest that you periodically check the cooking progress with a meat thermometer.

0-60 MINUTES: The timer can be set up to 60 minutes. The oven will not turn on without the timer being set. When the time knob is in the off position, the oven will not operate.
To set the time, turn the knob clockwise to the desired time, be sure to include the preheat time. Indicator light is lit only when the unit is plugged in and the time has been set. When the timer has reached the off position, a bell sound will be heard. Power supply will be cut off automatically. The timer can be changed during cooking cycle. Just turn the timer knob to the desired time and continue cooking. IMPORTANT: When using the timer for less than 20 minutes, turn the dial past the 20 minute mark and then turn back to the appropriate time / toast browning setting.

Bread may catch fire if the toasting time is setting too long. Close supervision is necessary during toasting and the timer cannot be set too long.
HELPFUL HINTS ABOUT YOUR OVEN
- When the oven is turned on, the orange power indicator light will come on and remain lit until the oven is turned off manually or automatically once the timer has been used.
- When selecting cook time for a particular product or recipe, include preheat time. This oven has a 60 minute timer.
- Metal, ovenproof glass and ceramic bake ware without lids can be used in the oven. If foods require covering, use aluminum foil.
- Be sure the top of the container or food being baked or broiled is at least 11/2 inches away from the upper heating elements. Turn the timer knob to off before inserting or removing plug from electrical outlet.
- Do not put any container directly on the lower heating element. To obtain the best performance from this toaster oven:
Do not overfill the oven.
To avoid heat loss do not open the door too frequently. When using foil to cover a food, tuck the edges of the foil against the sides of the baking dish or pan.
HOW TO USE

the oven gets hot when in use. Always use oven mitts or pot holders when touching the outer or inner surface of the oven.
- Plug in the unit.
- Place the Baking Rack in the position that will accommodate the height of the food to be cooked. Be sure that the food is at least 11/2 inches away from the upper or lower heating elements.
- Set the food on the Rack. Make sure that you always use an ovenproof container in the oven, never use plastic or cardboard containers in the oven.

Do not put any containers directly onto the lower heating elements.

Never use glass, ceramic pans or containers with lids. IMPORTANT: Do not let juices run to the bottom of the oven. Use the baking pan and crumb tray when cooking. - Select one of the 7 preset functions.
- Set the temperature as indicated by the recipe or as desired.
- Securely shut the door and set the cooking time to begin operating the oven.
- When the timer reaches "off" an audible beep will sound and the power light will turn off.
- If the food is finished cooking before the timer has signaled, turn the temperature control to the lowest position and the timer control to the "off" position. Make sure the power light is off.

YOU must set the timer for the oven to function. - Open the oven door. Using oven mitts or pots holders, slide the rack out to remove the cooked food.
- Unplug when not in use and allow cooling completely before cleaning. NOTE: Be sure food does not extend past the edges of the packing pan to prevent liquids from dripping onto the heating elements.
USDA COOKING GUIDELINES
A meat thermometer should always be used to gauge internal temperature. The thermometer should be inserted into thickest portion of roast away from bones or fatty areas. The United States Department of Agriculture recommends that meat and poultry be cooked to the following internal temperatures to be sure any harmful bacteria has been killed. Ground turkey and chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 ºF and ground beef, veal, lamb and pork be cooked to an internal temperature of 160 ºF.Chicken and turkey should be cooked to an internal temperature of 170 ºF for white meat and 1800F for dark meat. Goose and duck should be cooked to an internal temperature of 180 ºF.Fresh beef, veal and lamb, etc. should be cooked to an internal temperature of at least 1450F. Fresh pork should be cooked to an internal temperature of at least 160 ºF. When re-heating meat and poultry products, they should also be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 ºF.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing that requires disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified appliance repair technician.
CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Allow the Toaster Oven and all accessories to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the Toaster Oven with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. A nonabrasive liquid cleaner may be used for stubborn stains. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners that will scratch the surface.
- Clean interior with a mild or non-abrasive cleaner and plastic scouring pad after each use to avoid build-up. Do not rub too hard as surface can be scratched.
- To remove baked-on food, pour a small amount of cooking oil onto the food and allow to stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the softened food with a soft cloth. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly before closing the glass door. Clean the glass door with a cloth or sponge dampened with warm, sudsy water. Dry thoroughly.
- Wash bake/ broil pan, wire rack, air fry mesh basket and crumb tray in soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- If crumbs and spills have accumulated on the crumb tray, wipe with a damp cloth. Always dry the crumb tray thoroughly before replacing.
- DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads to clean bake/ broil pan, wire rack, or crumb tray. For stubborn stains, clean with a nylon or polyester mesh pad and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

DO NOT use spray-on or other oven cleaners. Using these types of cleaners may cause cosmetic and/or electrical damage to the Toaster Oven.
STORING INSTRUCTIONS
- Unplug unit, allow to cool, and clean before storing.
- Slide the bake/broil assembly (wire rack and bake/broil pan) into the lower shelf position.
- Store Toaster Oven in its box in a clean, dry place.
- Never store appliance while it is hot or still plugged in.
- Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow Toaster Oven to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer Service.
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE UNIT YOURSELF. THIS WILL VOID THE WARRANTY - The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other liquids.
- To disconnect, turn the timer dial knob to OFF.
- Remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended Use.
- Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the Toaster Oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
- A fire may occur if the Toaster Oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.
- Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts involving a risk of electrical shock.
- Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of other than metal or glass.
- Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this Toaster Oven when not in Use.
- Do not place any of the following materials in the Toaster Oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, and the like.
- Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the Toaster Oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the Toaster Oven.
- Use extreme caution when removing the crumb tray or disposing of hot grease.
- Do not cover the Toaster Oven with anything that would prevent steam from escaping. This may cause warping, discoloration, malfunction or even fire..

NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
NOTES ON THE CORD
- A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their Use.
- If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
- If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding- type 3-wire cord;
- The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
PLASTICIZER WARNING

To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the finish of the counter top or table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the appliance and the finish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause the finish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.
