Do not open the front or rear covers. Do not subject the unit to shock, impact, pressure, vibration,dust or moisture. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight for long periods. Use only LR03 AAA alkaline batteries. Do not expose batteries to flames or other sources of intense heat. Battery terminals must not be touched and must be kept free from dust, sand and liquids. - Page 10 The screen then displays "CALIBRATING" to indicate that the monitor is in the self-test phase.
