Referring to figure 3, a 1/2"-13 Whiz lock nut (item 1) should be threaded onto each threaded rod and spun towards the carrier mount a sufficient distance to allow the carrier (item 2) to be installed and a second nut (item 1) threaded onto each rod to retain the carrier. -

When the cable has been threaded through the grommets, cut a slit in the bottom vinyl to allow the cable to wrap around the bottom batten. Use the cable crimps provided and your cable-crimping tool to secure the cable to itself.
