Module specifications
The communication module with a built-in antenna supports a wireless data
transmission via Bluetooth technology during liquid handling applications within
INTEGRA- or 3rd party devices.
It operates within a 2.4 GHz band frequency and is a dual mode Bluetooth BR/EDR -
BLE module enabling Bluetooth Low Energy and Classic open field connectivity of
about 10 meters (line-of-sight) between devices.
The Bluetooth module's receiver sensitivity is rated at -95 dBm, which allows it to
effectively capture weak signals, enhancing its performance in various environments.
The physical dimensions of the compact module are measuring 11.6 mm in width, 16.0 mm in length,
and 2.2 mm in height.
Intended use
The firmware and hardware of the INTEGRA devices in which the communication module is to be
installed, must be compatible with the firmware of the module. This applies to the following devices:
Device
VIAFLO Pipettes
VOYAGER Pipettes
D-ONE Module
ASSIST
ASSIST PLUS
MAG/HEATMAG
Note: Please also refer to the latest document "Software_and_Firmware_update_history_VXX.docx"
that can be found in the Update section of the VIALAB/VIALINK software.
The energy demand is slightly increased in wireless operation and the power supply is guaranteed
via the INTEGRA host device. No stand-alone operation possible.
