Operating Your Breville Citrus Slushie Creations

Before first use
Remove and safely discard any packaging material and
promotional labels.
Remove the slushie cup, storage lid, large cone, small
cone, citrus tray, paddle, shaft, ice chamber and ice-
shaving blade assembly (following 'Disassembling the
Citrus Slushie Creations' instructions) and wash in warm
soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly ensuring there is
no residual water that can run into the motor body.
Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth, and dry
thoroughly.
Do not put any part of the appliance into a dishwasher.
Disassembling the Citrus Slushie
Creations
Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position, the
appliance is switched off at the power outlet and the
power cord is unplugged.
Remove the storage lid.
The ice shaving blade in the ice chamber is very sharp,
so always remove the ice shaving blade assembly before
disassembling and cleaning the appliance.
Carefully remove the ice shaving blade assembly, located
in the chute, from the ice chamber by unscrewing
the knob of the blade assembly, in an anti-clockwise
direction. Take care when removing and handling the
blade assembly as the ice-shaving blade is very sharp.
NOTE
Never attempt to touch the cutting edge of the blade
as it is very sharp.

Remove the citrus tray by pressing the 'PUSH TO RELEASE'
button located at the rear of the tray, to release.
Remove the large cone in the citrus tray by holding down
the tabs and pulling it off the small cone.
Remove the small cone by placing your thumb on to one
of the tabs and other fingers around the cone. Lift the
underside of the tab up with thumb. Then, with thumb still
supporting the underside of the tab, push the opposite
side of the cone towards the tab and lift up to remove.
Remove the paddle by pulling the attached spindle
upwards and turning it anti-clockwise then lifting the
spindle with attached paddle up and off the shaft.
