Citrus slushie creations

Kid's Corner
ICED LEMONADE wITH MINT
Makes 1 large or  small servings
1 lemon
6-8 medium sized ice cubes
¼ cup/60ml sugar syrup (recipe Page R7)
½ cup/125ml soda water
6 mint leaves, torn
1.
Follow instructions for 'Preparing the appliance and
ingredients on Page 9.
2.
Process the lemon and ice cubes as described in
'Using the citrus tray and the ice chamber - for a
Citrus Slushie on Page 10.
3.
Remove slushie cup and stir in sugar syrup and soda
water.
4.
Pour mixture into serving glasses and top with torn
mint leaves.
CITRUS GINGER FIzz
Makes  medium servings
2 oranges
1 lime
6-8 medium-sized ice cubes
1 cup/250ml ginger beer
1 tablespoon fresh passionfruit pulp
Extra slices of orange and lime, for garnish

Follow instructions for 'Preparing the appliance and
ingredients' on Page 9.
2.
Process the oranges, lime and ice cubes as described
in 'Using the citrus tray and the ice chamber - for a
Citrus Slushie' on Page 10.
3.
Remove slushie cup and stir in ginger beer and
passionfruit.
4.
Pour mixture into serving glasses and garnish with
slices of orange and lime.

LEMON AND LIME CORDIAL
Makes  medium servings
1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon grated lime rind
1½ cups caster sugar
1 cup/250ml boiling water
1 lemon
2 limes
6-8 medium-sized ice cubes
1.
Place rinds and caster sugar into a glass bowl and
pour in boiling water, stir until sugar dissolves and set
aside to cool. Strain the liquid into a jug and discard
the rinds.
2.
Follow instructions for 'Preparing the appliance and
ingredients' on Page 9.
3.
Process the lemon, limes and ice cubes as described
in 'Using the citrus tray and the ice chamber - for a
Citrus Slushie' on Page 10.
4.
Remove slushie cup and combine Citrus Slushie with
the cooled mixture.
5.
Pour mixture into serving glasses.
