    X Shore 1 Owner’s Manual 3.3 X Shore Infotainment interface The X Shore Infotainment interface allows you to operate different functions on your boat. 3.3.1 Compass and Home tab • Turn the start key. The screen starts up and the X Shore Infotainment interface appear on the right side of the touchscreen with the Home tab pre- selected.

    X Shore 1 Owner’s Manual 3.5 Charging 3.5.1 General guidelines about charging Follow these guidelines to make your 400 V high-voltage propulsion battery last longer. • When docking, keep the charger plugged in and keep the boat charging. • When charging, the valve of the seawater inlet must be open to allow seawater to flow into the cooling system.

Visit xshore.com/manuals for manual. • You can control the volume from the steering console. You can connect to the Garmin audio system through Bluetooth in the Garmin screen menu.
  • Page 32 X Shore 1 Owner’s Manual Always remove the sun awning and poles before transporting the boat. • Failure to do so could result in damage to the awning or poles, or even to your boat. • Fold the sun awning carefully and secure it with straps or ties to prevent it from unfolding during transport.

    5.1.2 Bilge pump system The bilge pump system consists of two submersible electric pumps that pump the bilge water from the lower sections of the boat to an outlet in the stern. See 5.1 Draining system components. The system activates automatically when it detects water in the bilge and pumps the water out through the bilge water outlet.

    X Shore 1 Owner’s Manual The bilge pump is in automatic mode when both 12 V battery main switch and bilge pump circuit breaker are ON in the main switch panel. Manual override is possible from the steering console. Do not rely on the bilge pump system to pump out the boat in the event of hull damage.

    The 12 V system consists of two 12 V batteries and the different 12 V equipment and devices on the boat. 6.1 Main components of the electrical system Risk of electric shock.     6.4 Infotainment fuse panel The Infotainment fuse panel contains the mini blade fuses for the 12 V equipment that can be controlled with the X Shore Touchscreen. Do not replace tripped fuses with fuses that have higher amperage.

    Always use trained and competent people for maintenance, repair, or modifications. Modifications that may affect the safety characteristics of the craft must be assessed, executed, and documented by competent people. X Shore cannot be held responsible for modifications that X Shore has not approved.

Note that in some countries, it is a legal requirement to always wear a life jacket when on board a watercraft.

    When driving at high speeds, passengers may lose footing or grip and be thrown off the boat. 7.1.6.1 Situations unsuitable for high speed • Do not drive the boat at high speed if the boat angle is negative (bow down).

It is the owner’s and operator’s responsibility to ensure that the lines are appropriate for the intended use and properly secured.

    X Shore 1 Owner’s Manual 7.2.2 Docking advice The breaking strength of lines/chains must, in general, not exceed 80 % of the breaking strength of the respective strong point. During docking, idling speed ahead and astern is generally adequate. Avoid sharp movements of the throttle, as these can lead to panic maneuvers.

Strict safety regulations apply to the transport of defective or intact lithium batteries.

    X Shore 1 Owner’s Manual 8.4.2 Cleaning and polishing the boat The boat requires a certain amount of regular maintenance. This is especially relevant for external parts which are exposed to sun and salt water. Never use a pressure washer on any part of the boat that is over the waterline.

    Humidity should be between 50 % and 60 % to prolong the life of the cork deck and avoid mold, corrosion, and electrical issues. To protect the environment, X Shore recommends using organic antifreeze. Never use flammable solvents (e.g., kerosene) for cleaning the bilge, however oily it might become.

The system can be active even if the ignition is switched off.
  • Page 75 In the event of damage or disposal of the battery, you are obliged to return the battery to X Shore or to contract a qualified specialist company to dismantle, recycle and dispose of the battery. Only qualified and trained persons are allowed to work on a high-voltage system and systems which are directly or indirectly influenced by it.
