    Assembly Pouring Sand and Water Into the Bases Open the side bases (I) and the middle bases (J) in the counterclockwise direction. Pour sand and water into the side bases (I) and the middle bases (J). Close the side bases (I) and the middle bases (J) in the clockwise direction. NOTE: Place the bases in the area where the umbrella is to be used.
  • Page 6 Assembly (continued) Pulling Out the Base Tube from the Umbrella Shade Place the umbrella shade (E) on a soft surface. Pull out the base tube (C) from the umbrella shade (E).
  • Page 7 Assembly Assembly (continued) Attaching the Base Tube to the Turn Plate Attach the pedal tube (H) to the turn plate (F) using M6x10 bolt (AA) and hex wrench S5 (GG). Attach the upper bracket (B) onto the lower bracket (A). Attach the turn plate (F) to the brackets (A&B) using M10x30 bolts (DD), M10 washers (EE) and hex wrench S8 (FF).

Attach the solar receiver (M) to the umbrella shade (E) by turning the solar receiver (M) clockwise until fully tightened.     Operation Attaching the Crank to the Umbrella Shade and Raising the Umbrella Shake the canopy to separate the umbrella ribs before opening the umbrella. Attach the crank (D) to the umbrella shade (E). Loosen the knob on the umbrella shade (E) by turning it in the counterclockwise direction. Hold the umbrella handle and push the umbrella shade upward to the desired position.

  • Page 21 Operation (continued) Attaching and Detaching the Crank Attach the crank (D) without using the tap as shown in figure 1. To detach the crank (D), just take the crank out. Attach the crank (D) to the handle as shown in figure 2. Attach the crank (D) by aligning the tap with the hole on the crank (D) until it snaps into place.

    Care and Cleaning For best results, clean the umbrella with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. This will help prevent mildew by removing dirt particles that may accumulate. Do not clean with abrasive materials, bleach, or solvents. Store the umbrella in a dry sheltered place when not in use.
