    Software Update Software Update Samsung Update Install and update Samsung apps and drivers on the computer. You can search for or download the BIOS, drivers, and apps over the internet. Keep the computer performing better and more stably with Samsung Update.

    Back up important data regularly before a problem occurs with the computer. The Samsung Recovery app may not be provided in models with less than 64 GB • of storage. If you cannot access the Samsung Recovery app, refer to Windows recovery feature.
  • Page 8 You can back up the factory default system or current system to an alternate internal drive or an external storage device. Select the Start button ( ) → All apps → Samsung Recovery → Back up computer. Select a drive to save the backed up data and select Start backup.

    Disassembly and Assembly Case Rear Remove Be sure to remove the Case rear while the computer is secured on a flat surface. • It is possible to damage parts or components when using sharp metal tools. • Using the opening tool, remove the 4 rubber feet on the Case rear. If you are going to use tweezers, use tweezers made out of plastic or rubber because it is possible to damage parts or components when using sharp metal tweezers.

    Disassembly and Assembly Touchpad Remove Using the tweezers, remove the yellow kapton tape from the touchpad. Set aside the yellow kapton tape for later use during the assembly process. Using the tweezers, open the touchpad connector lever and disconnect the touchpad cable from the connector.

When removing the tape with tweezers, apply a steady force to prevent it from breaking in the middle. Remove the touchpad module by pushing the opposite side of the touchpad module by hand.

Attach the touchpad adhesive tape to the touchpad following this picture with the guide line. Skip this step if you replace the touchpad part. The tape is attached to the touchpad you ordered.

Align the Case rear with the Case front and hook the Case rear by pressing it according to the hooking directions.
