03985 - IoT connected 4out relay multifunction actuator
The connected actuator is a DIN rail device (60715 TH35) equipped with 4 independently
programmable relay outputs 16(3.5) A and can be configured in "Lights", "Accesses and
Presences", "Various", "Blinds and Roller shutters" and "Energy" applications.
To control the actuator from other devices (such as IoT controls art. 30801-xx0591) they need
to be configured with the View Wireless App within a group.
Download the View Wireless
App from the stores onto the tablet/smartphone you
will be using for configuration.
When the device is powered for the first configuration, we recommend you search for any new
firmware and perform the update.
You will also need:
Gateway art. 30807.x-20597-19597-14597
View App
for management via smartphone/tablet
Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri (Homekit) voice assistants for possible voice
operation.
CONFIGURATION IN
1. Create your Installer account on MyVIMAR (on-line).
2. Wire all the devices in the system (2-way switches, relays, thermostats, gateway, etc.).
3. Start the View Wireless App and log in with the credentials you just created.
4. Create the system and the environments.
5. Associate all the devices with the environments, except for the gateway (which should be
associated last).
To associate the actuator:
• Select "Add" (
), choose the environment to place it and give it a name
• Select
; activate the Bluetooth connection on your tablet/smartphone and approach the
actuator
• Press the CONF push button and set the desired function
• For each relay output, choose the application with which to associate it
6. For every device, set the function, the parameters and any accessory devices (wired or radio
control and related function).
7. Transfer the configuration of the devices to the gateway and connect it to the Wi-Fi network.
8. Transfer the system to the Administrator user (who must have created his/her profile on
MyVIMAR).
For details, see the View Wireless App manual that can be downloaded from the www.
vimar.com website.
CONTROLLABLE LOADS.
• Relay output (controllable loads at 100 - 240 V~, NO contacts):
- heating load 16 (3.5) A (100,000 cycles)
- LED lamps
: 100 W-240 V~, 30 W-120 V~ (20,000 cycles);
• Relay output (controllable loads at 100 - 240 V~, NO and NC contacts):
- cos ø 0.6 motors: 3.5 A (20,000 cycles).
CAUTION: the sum of the currents circulating on the 4 relay outputs must not exceed 32 A.
RESET PROCEDURE.
The reset restores the factory settings. Within the first 5 minutes from powering the device, press
CONF for 30 s until the white LED flashes.
INSTALLATION RULES.
• Installation must be carried out by qualified persons in compliance with the current regulations
regarding the installation of electrical equipment in the country where the products are installed.
• The 4 relay outputs are separated from each other by main insulation at 250 V~ and not by
double insulation; because of this, for example, do not connect a SELV circuit to an output that
is adjacent to another one that is connected to the 230 V~ power supply.
• The electronic 1-way switch must be protected by a directly associated fuse with a rated
breaking capacity of 1500 A or by an automatic 1-way switch with a rated current not
exceeding 16 A.
CHARACTERISTICS.
• Rated supply voltage: 100-240 V~, 50/60 Hz.
• Dissipated power: 5 W
• RF transmission power: < 100mW (20dBm)
• Frequency range: 2400-2483.5 MHz
• 4 relay outputs (NC, NO, C) for controlling lights; relays 1+2 and 3+4 can be grouped for roller
shutter control.
• For use in the Energy application.
• Push buttons for manual relay control.
• Push button to enable/disable the manual controls.
03985 01 2410
• LED for relay status.
• LED and configuration/reset push button.
• The actuator can be controlled by other devices (such as IoT controls art. 30801-xx0591), by
configuring them with the View Wireless App within the groups.
• Protection degree: IP20.
• Operating temperature: -5 °C ÷ +45°C (indoor use).
• Overall dimensions: 4 modules size 17.5 mm for installation on DIN rail (60715 TH35)
• Controllable via View App, Amazon Alexa, Google, Siri and Homekit voice assistantfor
Bluetooth technology system.
MANUAL MANAGEMENT.
Pressing the
button enables the use of the buttons for actuating the relays. All messages
from the gateway are ignored.
• If the device is reset each relay is controlled with its own button.
• If the device is configured, the relays configured individually are controlled by the relevant
button while the relays configured in pairs for roller shutter control are controlled by the buttons
for the UP function () and DOWN function () with a reversal time in the passage from UP
to DOWN.
In normal operation, pressing the relay actuation buttons is ignored.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE.
RED Directive. RoHS directive.
