Filling the water tank ATTENTION! ► Fill the water tank only with tap water or distilled water. Otherwise, you will damage the appliance. Note ► As soon as the fill level of the water tank falls below the MIN mark (see Fig.

1) Pull the water tank out of the appliance by the handle. 2) Fill the water tank with tap water or distilled water through the filler opening (see Fig. 2). Fig. 2 3) Do not fill the water tank beyond the MAX mark (see Fig. 3). Pour out any excess water through the filler opening.
Plugging in and heating up Note ► Always place the steam iron on its base during heating. ► After switching on, the steam iron heats up in the normal operating mode by default. Press the ECO button to switch to energy-saving mode (see also section Energy-saving mode).
Care instructions ATTENTION! ► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing ( ), the garment may not be ironed. Otherwise, you could damage the garment. ► If you do not find any care instructions on the garment, first start ironing a usually invisible, inconspicuous part of the garment.
