    Safety Rules and Information Slope Operation You could be seriously injured or even killed if you use this unit on too steep an incline. Using the unit on a slope that is too steep or where you don’t have adequate traction can cause you to lose control or roll over. A good rule of thumb is to not operate on any slope you cannot back up (in 2-wheel drive mode).

    Regular Maintenance LUBRICATION Lubricate the rider and mower as shown in Figures 11 - 16. When a grease gun is shown, wipe the fitting clean, apply two or three shots of lithium base automotive grease, and wipe off excess grease. When an oil can is shown, wipe the area clean, apply a few drops of oil (SAE 30), then wipe up drips or spills.
