FREIBRENNEN Beim sogenannten Freibrennen wird dagegen ein Effekt genutzt, der auch in vielen Back- öfen im sogenannten Selbstreinigungsprogramm auftritt. Alle Rückstände im Grill und auf dem Rost werden durch sehr hohe Temperaturen abgelöst und zu Asche verbrandt. Letztere können Sie dann anschließend mit einer Grillbürste entfernen. Somit sorgt das Freibrennen für eine bessere Hygiene, aber auch für Sicherheit. -

5. HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie zum Anzünden oder Auffrischen eines Feuers in Ihrem Grill keinen Spiritus, kein Feuerzeug oder Kerosin. 6. Wenn der Brenner nicht innerhalb von 5 Sekunden zündet, drehen Sie den Bedienknopf des Brenners auf „OFF“, warten Sie 5 Minuten und wiederholen Sie die Zündanweisun- gen. - Page 13 Freibrennen: Um Rückstände zu reduzieren, lassen Sie jeden Brenner nach dem Gebrauch noch ca. 15 Min. bis 20 Min. ohne Grillgut an. Somit brennen Sie verbleibende Garrück- stände ab und können diese nach dem Abkühlen mit einer Grillbürste abbürsten. Achten Sie beim Reinigen auf scharfe Kanten.
- Page 14 WARTUNG DER BRENNER 1. Alle Bedienelemente müssen im AUS-Modus sein. 2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gaszufuhr abgeschaltet und der Regler von der Gasflasche getrennt ist. 3. Entfernen Sie den Grillrost, die Brennerabdeckungen und die Auffangschale. 4. Entfernen Sie die Schrauben am Brenner. Verwenden Sie einen Schraubenzieher. 5.
- Page 15 Als letzten Schritt können Sie Politur oder Aluminiumschutz verwenden, um Ihren Grill vor Witterungseinflüssen zu schützen. Dies empfehlen wir 1-2 Mal im Jahr. Grills aus Alumi- niumguss erfordern weniger Wartung als Grills aus anderen Materialien, des kann jedoch zu Oberflächenrost kommen, wenn der obige Schritt nicht befolgt wird. RATSCHLÄGE UND TIPPS • Heizen Sie den Grill immer 10–15 Minuten vor, bevor Sie mit dem Grillen beginnen. • Außentemperatur, Wind, Schnee und Regen können zu einer Abweichung von bis zu 30 % zwischen der im Thermometer angezeigten Temperatur und der tatsächlichen Tempera- tur auf der Grilloberfläche führen. -

Page 28: Treatment By Pyrolysis
TREATMENT BY PYROLYSIS The treatment by pyrolysis uses an effect that also occures in many ovens in the so-called self-cleaning program. All residues in the grill and on the grid are removed by very high tem- peratures and turned into ash. You can then remove the latter with a grill brush. It therefore ensures better hygiene, but also safety. -

5. NOTE: Do not use alcohol, lighter fluid or kerosene to light or refresh a fire in your barbecue. 6. If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the burner control knob to “OFF”, wait 5 minutes and repeat the ignition instructions. Put the grill grate back in position and you can enjoy your barbecue at the desired temperature! 7. - Page 30 Post grilling: To reduce residues, leave each burner after use on for approx. 15 to 20 min- utes without food. This allows you to burn off any remaining cooking residue and can be brushed off with a grill brush after cooling down. Watch out for sharp edges during cleaning. WHEN A GREASE FIRE OCCURS In the event of a grease fire, close the gas supply to the regulator/grill and disconnect the regulator.

BURNER MAINTENANCE 1. All controls must be in OFF mode. 2. Ensure that the gas supply is switched off and the regulator is disconnected from the gas bottle. 3. Remove the grill grate, the burner covers and the drip tray. 4. - Page 32 As a final step, you can use polish or aluminium protection to protect your barbecue from the weather. We recommend this 1-2 times a year. Cast aluminium barbecues require less maintenance than barbecues made of other materials, but surface rust can occur if the above step is not followed.
