1 Ideal for
The Power Adaptor is ideal for domestic applications around the
home and supplying 15A power tools requiring power for short
durations.
The Power Adaptor meets the requirements for a Portable Residual
Current Device (PRCD) as per AS/NZS 3190.
Note: Not suitable for use on Caravan sites or Construction Sites
and does not meet the requirements of AS/NZS 3001 (Transportable
structures and vehicles including their site supplies) or AS/NZS 3012
(Construction and demolition sites)
2 Instructions for use
Step 1. Uncoil lead fully from around base.
Step 2. Plug your Power Adaptor into a fixed powerpoint and turn
the powerpoint on. Do not plug into an extension lead.
Step 3. Lift clear protective cover on side and ensure the RCBO
toggle is ON.
Step 4. TEST THE RCBO BEFORE EACH USE by pressing the Test
Button. The RCBO toggle should immediately trip to the
OFF position. If the RCBO fails to trip OFF, after the RCBO
Test Button is pressed, do not use as the RCBO may be
faulty. Return to HPM for repair.
Step 5. RESET THE RCBO by simply switching the RCBO toggle
to ON.
Your Power Adaptor is now ready for use.
The RCBO may trip through overcurrent if the current drawn exceeds
10A for an extended period of time. To restore power (after removing
the tool/device causing the overload) simply switch the RCBO toggle
under the clear protective cover to the ON position.
