FLIR Si2x–Series
1 Safety information
Before operating the camera, you must read, understand, and follow the warnings, cau-
tions, and notes in the Si2x safe operation manual and the Si2 user's manual, chapter
Safety information.
The user's manual is available online, see section 13 Online documentation.
WARNING
Applicability: Digital devices subject to 2.1091/2.1093/KDB 447498/RSS-102. Radiofrequency radia-
tion exposure Information: For body worn operation, this device has been tested touched to the phan-
tom and meets FCC RF exposure guidelines. Nevertheless, the device should be used in such a
manner that the potential for human contact during normal operation is minimized.
CAUTION
Do not use the camera in temperatures more than +40°C (+104°F), unless other information is speci-
fied in the user documentation or technical data. High temperatures can cause damage to the camera.
CAUTION
The temperature range through which you can charge the battery is ±0°C to +45°C (+32°F to +113°F).
If you charge the battery at temperatures out of this range, it can cause the battery to become hot or to
break. It can also decrease the performance or the life cycle of the battery.
CAUTION
This portable transmitter with its antenna has shown compliance with FCC's SAR limits for general pop-
ulation/uncontrolled exposure. The maximum listed SAR level is 0.95 W/kg (head) and 0.95 W/kg
(body) at 0 mm. The antenna used for this device must not be co-located or operating in conjunction
with any other antenna or transmitter.
NOTE
FLIR Systems AB declares that the radio equipment type FLIR Si2x-Series is in compliance with Direc-
tive 2014/53/EU.
NOTE
Radio operates in standard 802.11 b/g/n in frequency range 2400-2480 MHz and 5150-5260 MHz with
