    Manual tyre changer TWX-36 / TWX-36-G 1. General information The TWX-36 / TWX-36-G semi-automatic tyre changer with pneumatic tiltable mounting arm and built-in air booster is designed for demounting / mounting tyres. The TWX-36 is suitable for standard, low-profile and run-flat tyres.

Conformity with the product The TWX-36 / TWX-36-G tyre changer is CE-certified and complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and fulfils the standards EN ISO 12100:2010 and EN 17347:2001. Illustration: Positioning the mounting arm e) Replace the washers and nuts and tighten them firmly. f) To connect the mounting arm to the cylinder, first position the piston as accurately as possible.

Note: A rubber mallet can be used to make fitting the guard easier. 10) Fit the protective covers. a) Remove the retaining screws at the bottom rear of the mounting arm, insert the large cover and screw it in place.
  • Page 12 Manual tyre changer TWX-36 / TWX-36-G 12) Open the side cover by loosening the two screws. a) Remove the nuts from the retaining screws on the machine. Note: You can leave the left-hand screws in the housing so that you can mount the tank directly.
  • Page 13 Manual tyre changer TWX-36 / TWX-36-G e) Remove the pre-assembled screw on the machine in order to be able to screw on the base plate. Screw the base plate to the machine using the screw. Again, do not tighten the screw completely.

The assembly head automatically lifts approx. 2 - 3 mm. 3) Place the tyre lever between the tyre bead and the front section of the mounting head and move the tyre over the mounting head.
  • Page 21 Manual tyre changer TWX-36 / TWX-36-G 9.3.4 Fitting the tyre 1) Replace the tyre valve. 2) Lubricate the tyre bead and the rim with tyre mounting paste. Tyre mounting paste type: TW1530MP 3) Clamp the rim according to the section "Clamping the wheel" if the rim has been removed from the turntable.

Note: The turntable always rotates clockwise during assembly or disassembly; anti-clockwise is only for correction. 9.3.5 Air booster function 1) Attach the wheel to the turntable (clamp the clamping jaws from the inside).

    10. Troubleshooting Please note: Do not hesitate to contact the expert staff at Twin Busch GmbH if you are unable to rectify a fault yourself. We will be happy to help you solve the problem. In this case, please document the fault and send us pictures and a precise description of the fault so that we can identify and rectify the cause as quickly as possible.

    Manual tyre changer TWX-36 / TWX-36-G 11. Maintenance Regular, simple and cost-effective maintenance work ensures normal and safe operation of the tyre changer. The following requirements apply to regular maintenance. How often you service your machine depends on the ambient conditions, the degree of soiling and, of course, the stress and load.
