  • Page 6 CameraView PM-65 Aux & Monitor Connect Power to Camera w/Auxiliary Cameras CABLE TO CAMERA Connect the Exterior Camera Splitter/Power Cable to Exterior Camera Splitter/ Power Cable the camera ports for Power and TVI. The plugs will fit the ports appropriately and you cannot put the wrong plug in the wrong port.
  • Page 7 CameraView PM-65 Aux & Monitor Optional Auxiliary Cameras Before You Begin TIPS FOR AUXILIARY CAMERA MOUNTING • Placement of Auxiliary Cameras will be unique to your needs and your assets. Installation will be just as varied. The following tips are not meant to be exact steps. Use your judgement for placement, weatherproofing, sealing etc.
  • Page 8 CameraView PM-65 Aux & Monitor Connect Y Splitters Exterior Camera Splitter/ Power Cable SPLITTER TO POWER Connect the splitter end labled “CDR” to the TVI ports on the Exterior Camera Splitter/Power cable. It is important to record which Aux camera is tied to which TVI port.
  • Page 9 CameraView PM-65 Aux & Monitor Optional Auxiliary Cameras STEP ONE Auxiliary camera can be mounted around a side mirror mounting bar or fastened with screws by removing the clam bracket. The underside of the camera has grooves to grab on to a mounting bar in multiple directions.
  • Page 10 CameraView PM-65 Aux & Monitor Monitor Power and Mount The colors from the Monitor wiring harnesses and the wiring from the Camera power harness DO NOT MATCH. The wires from the harnesses may be twisted together and terminated in the appro- priate location.
  • Page 11 CameraView PM-65 Aux & Monitor Optional Auxiliary Cameras SELECT LOCATION Select a mounting location(s) for the Auxiliary Camera(s). Side view camera are usually mounted on the side mirrors. The camera cabling will need to run through the door into the cab to connect to the camera as it is mounted on the windshield.
  • Page 12 CameraView PM-65 Aux & Monitor Optional Auxiliary Cameras WIRING Choosing the proper placement for wiring is dependent on the asset that the camera is installed on. Some possibilities are running through existing conduite holes, paneling, A-pillar, and inside paneling. Caution should be taken when drilling holes, including making sure to weatherproof all drill holes with gaskets and silicone.

STEP TWO Choose Camera IMEI and add the camera’s serial number (located under the front faceplate of the camera).
