About Orbit.6 EQ/Xfader This dual EQ/crossfader unit has been designed specifically for use with the Orbit.6 rotary mixer. Incorpora ng premium audio grade opera onal amplifiers and close tolerance film capacitors, it features dual, four-band isolators, and an Innofader crossfader. Having independent four-band isolators for both sides of the crossfader allows for detailed control over the frequency content of each audio source between any two channels on the mixer.
Isolator EQ The Orbit.6 EQ/Xfader features two separate four-band isolators, dedicated to the X and Y sides of the crossfader. Each isolator knob provides control over the corresponding frequency bands, allowing users to boost or cut them as needed. When all bands are set to their minimum posi on the signal is fully a enuated. 6dB/-15dB boost/cut at 30Hz.

Crossfader Mix/Cut – This switch alters the crossfader's func onality. In Mix mode, the crossfader follows a carefully designed curve to create a gradual transi ons between X and Y, with a small a enua on in the centre posi on for equal loudness. Selec ng Cut mode will bring the audio signal in at full volume when the crossfader is moved a small distance away from the end-stop.
Rear Panel Input Connec ons Channel Inputs – There are six channel input connec ons located on the rear side, each designed to receive the le and right signals from the Direct Outputs on the rear of the orbit.6. Inputs one to three are summed on the X-side of the crossfader and inputs four to six are summed on the Y-side. For normal opera on, connect the channel direct outputs from the orbit.6 mixer to the corresponding channel input on the EQ/Xfader unit, using good quality audio leads fi...
