 GENERAL SAFETY

the risk of personal injury when working with a chain
saw because of the very high chain speed and sharp
cutters.
It is important that you read the instruction manual
before first use and keep it in a safe place for future
reference. Non-observance of the instruction manual
may result in serious or even fatal injury.

Always hold the chain saw
firmly with both hands: Right hand
on the rear handle – even if you are left-handed.

Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work except fuelling,
filling the chain oil tank and tensioning the saw chain. All other
work to be performed by Centenary Hire or by a person trained in
the maintenance of STIHL chainsaws.
