Operating the unit (Power/standby)

When you first plug the unit into the AC outlet, the unit will be in STANDBY
mode. Ensure that the main switch on the rear is switched to on. You can
press the POWER button on the unit (or on the remote control) to switch the
unit ON and OFF. Pull the AC plug out of the wall socket if you want to switch
off completely.

Select the sound source (CD, Radio or Aux) by pressing corresponding
function key. The corresponding display will light up.

Adjust the volume with the VOLUME (UP or DOWN) button. Adjust the
variable bass control knob to alter the bass.

Press POWER button to switch off the unit.
Clock setting
Ensure that the unit is in Standby position

Press and hold PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button until time display 24-H
flashes on the display.

Press TUNING UP / DOWN button to adjust between 24-hour or 12-hour clock.

Press PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button, the hour digits will flash, press
TUNING UP / DOWN to adjust the hour. Press PROGRAM / CLOCK SET
button again, the minute digits will flash. Press TUNING UP / DOWN to adjust
the minutes.

Press and hold PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button to store the time.
Timer setting

Ensure that the unit is in standby mode.

Press and hold the TIMER button for a few seconds, TIMER will appear on the
display and flash.

Press and hold for a few seconds PROGRAM / CLOCK SET button, the hour
will flash. Press TUNING UP / DOWN button to set the hour. Press PROGRAM /
CLOCK SET button again to set the minutes. Press again to confirm the timer is
set to the correct time.

The unit will turn on at the last function and volume used at the
preset time.
