Installing the ribbon cable to the amplifier terminals Connect the ribbon cable between the CD and Amplifier units as shown below. Installing the speaker wire to the speaker terminals Connect the speaker wires to the right and left speaker terminals as shown below.
Operating the unit (Power/standby) When you first plug the unit into the AC outlet, the unit will be in STANDBY mode. Ensure that the main switch on the rear is switched to on. You can press the POWER button on the unit (or on the remote control) to switch the unit ON and OFF.
The unit will turn off automatically after 1 hour. Press the STANDBY / ON button to turn off before the set time. Press and hold the TIMER button to completely cancel the timer function. Radio operation Ensure unit is not in standby mode. Press the TUNER button to select the Radio operation.

Notes: Storing a new station into a preset location will erase the previously stored station in that location. Power off / failure or power cord disconnection will clear the memory of all preset stations. Perform the station presetting procedures again to store the stations. Selecting the preset stations Press the STOP / BAND (MW / FM) button to select the desired band.
To interrupt playback, press PLAY / PAUSE. The time elapse indicator will flash. To resume playback, press PLAY / PAUSE again. To stop playback, press STOP. Selecting a different track Press SKIP UP / DOWN button on the unit (or remote), until the required track number appears in the display.
Intro play (for remote handset) Press the INTRO button once, and the "INTRO" indicator will light up. Shortly after this, every track will be played for only 10 seconds from the beginning. Programming By programming the CD player, you can play up to 20 tracks in any desired order. (possible only when the CD is in stop mode.) Place the disc to be programmed in the tray.
