CONTROLS
On/off control
Press the on/off pedal to start
the machine, press again to turn
off.
Variable power
control
Turn the dial clockwise to
increase the power for maximum
suction or anti-clockwise to
reduce suction when cleaning
delicate surfaces such as
curtains etc.
IMPORTANT: If suction power
appears to be low check that
the variable power dial is set to
maximum.
Suction control on
the handle
The suction power can be
adjusted using the fingertip
control on the handle. B
Closed : full suction
Open : low suction

floor nozzle
The brushes should be retracted
for use on carpets and down for
use on hard floors by adjusting
the lever on the floor nozzle.

After vacuuming
1 Switch off the vacuum cleaner.
2 Unplug from the mains.
3 Use a hand or foot to operate
the cable rewind fi.
WARNING: When using the
cable rewind, always hold
the plug as the cable will
rewind quickly.
Emptying the dust
canister
1 Disconnect the cleaner from the
mains socket.
2 Disconnect the hose from the
hose inlet duct.
3 Remove the dust canister by
pushing the pod release latch.

4 Remove the filter basket and
empty the pod into a waste bin.

If the dust is tightly packed tap
the front cover. Shake the filter
basket into the waste bin, this
will remove most of the dust.
