Cleaning your
slow cooker
The ceramic pot may be
washed in a dishwasher or
washed by hand in hot soapy
water. Do not use harsh
abrasive cleaners.
Wash the lid in hot soapy
water, using a sponge or
dishcloth. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
Do not immerse the electrical
base in water or any other
liquid.
The base may be wiped clean
as follows. Unplug the base
from the mains. Wipe the base
over gently with a dish cloth.
Ensure that the plug and
electrical connections remain
dry at all times.
From time to time, the rubber
seal around the lid may require
cleaning. To do this, remove
the seal completely by peeling
it back off the lid. Clean the
seal in hot soapy water. Do not
use harsh abrasive cleaners.
To replace the seal, simply
stretch it back around the
edge of the lid.
