    II-2. Power on the Router Connect the power adapter to the product's power port and then to the wall outlet. Note: 1. Make sure the “PWR/SYS” LED is ON (Blue), “PWR/SYS” LED Blinking duration is 90 sec. 2. Make sure the “4G” LED is ON (Blue).

    IV. Web-based Configuration Utility This section describes how to navigate the web-based switch configuration utility through web browser. Be sure to disable any browser pop-up blocker. Browser Restrictions  If you are using older versions of Internet Explorer, you cannot directly use an IPv6 address to access the device.

    V-1 Internet Item Description Internet Status Displays the Internet status. Internet Displays the type of Internet connection. Connection Type WAN IP Displays the WAN IP address. Displays the Integrated Circuit Card Identifier which is the unique 19- or 20-digit number that is ICCID used to identify a SIM card internationally.

    V-2 Router Item Description Device Model Displays the device model type. Firmware Version Displays the device’s firmware version. LAN IP Displays the device’s LAN IP address.

    VI. Internet Page This section deals with the WAN setting for the device. VI-1 Internet Priority - Cellular Only Cellular networking is preferred for device. The WAN/LAN port is used as the LAN port. Click the Save & Apply button to save and implement your changes.

    VII-1 Wi-Fi Basic This page allows you to set the basic wireless settings. Click the Save & Apply button to save and implement your changes.
  • Page 27 This shows the name of the Wi-Fi network (SSID) for the 2.4GHz band. In this example, the SSID is @Edimax-E77C-2.4G. This is the network name that 2.4G SSID devices will see when scanning for available Wi-Fi networks. Input a new SSID if required.

    X. Advanced This section deals with the advanced features of the device. These features are divided into several sections, each with specific configuration options. X-1 Network This section displays the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) settings options.

    X-1.1 DHCP Click on the icon to configure DHCP settings, which assign IP addresses to devices on your network. Click the Save & Apply button to save the current configuration settings and apply them to the network.  DHCP (Toggle Switch): On: DHCP is enabled, meaning the device will automatically assign IP addresses to devices on the network.

For example, with a starting number of 4, the first IP address assigned will be 192.168.2.4 Number of Clients: Specifies the maximum number of devices that can be assigned IP addresses by the DHCP server.

    X-1.2 Diagnostics Click on the icon to troubleshooting network issues by testing connectivity. Select the required tool from the drop-down menu. Upon inputting the IP address, click the Perform button to run the diagnostic. Ping: Tests the reachability of a host (e.g., a website or another device) on an IP network.

    X-1.3 Net Monitor Click on the icon to check on the health of network connections (wired or cellular). Wired Clicking the Save & Apply will save the current settings and apply them to the device. DNS (Toggle Switch): This enables or disables DNS (Domain Name System) monitoring. If enabled, the device will check DNS availability.
  • Page 44 Ping Timeout: Set to 5 (in seconds). This is the amount of time the device will wait for a response after sending a ping request before considering it a timeout. Ping Times: Set to 3. This is the number of times the device will ping the target address. DNS Server: Set to 8.8.4.4, which is another Google DNS server.
  • Page 45 Cellular Check DNS (Toggle Switch): The DNS monitoring is turned on, meaning the device will check DNS server availability as part of its network monitoring. Ping (Toggle Switch): The Ping monitoring is also enabled. The device will send ping requests to monitor network connectivity.

    Max Fail: Set to 8. This is the maximum number of failed ping attempts before the device registers a connection failure. Max Fail Hard: Added with a value of 10, potentially a more strict failure count for severe issues. Period: The interval (in seconds) between each round of ping tests.

    X-1.5 LAN Settings Click on the icon to configure IPv4 LAN settings. IPv4 address: This is the IP address assigned to the router on the local network. Devices connected to the router will use this IP address as their gateway to access other networks, such as the internet.

    X-1.6 Port Forwarding Click on the icon to set up a port forwarding rule. Rule Count: Displays the number of configured port forwarding rules. In  the above image, it's set to 0, meaning no rules have been added yet. Add Button: Allows you to add a new port forwarding rule.

    X-1.7 AweSeed Click on the icon to configure or manage an Aweseed network account, enabling a secure virtual network for distributed teams or remote workers. Aweseed is a virtual networking service designed to extend LAN-like networks to mobile workers and distributed teams. The service can create virtual networks on demand.

SLAAC (Stateless Address Autoconfiguration) is a method that enables devices on the network to automatically configure their own IP addresses using router advertisements.

When switched on, access control settings become active, allowing you to manage which devices can connect to the network.

Enable: This toggle switch allows you to enable or disable the Guest Wi-Fi network.

    X-3.1 Cellular Status Click on the icon to monitor and troubleshoot the cellular connection of a device. Cellular Info SIM card not detected: This message is shown in red and indicates that the device is not detecting a SIM card. This could be due to the SIM card not being inserted, inserted incorrectly, or possibly an issue with the SIM card reader.
