SAFETY: before to attempt the repair, the following should be observed General: Ensure that the correct tool is used and only use good quality hand tools. • Ensure the work shop is clean and tidy. • Always wear protective clothing, Overalls, safety gloves, safety glasses, safety hat/net etc. •...
Before Repair: DATE TEST CODE Carry out an visually check: Date code & Serial number • Condition of contacts (unit, charger and battery) • On/Off selector Battery indicator • Condition of windows Carry out an functionality check: 3 beams (horizontal, vertical, plump mode) •...

Calibration check / Field test: Before calibration or after repair: always perform a calibration check ! Depending of the outcome of the test, (within spec or not) you must decide to calibrate or not. A calibration check or field test can be done as described in the manual or directly via your test environment.
Before calibration: Before calibration , be sure the laser is on a stable temperature. Recommendation for your environment and the tool is ideal 21°C! • If a tool is not on his ideal temp, deviations are possible for the reason of climatic conditions. •...

Calibration X axis: • Press and hold Slope button then press Power button Release slope button 2 sec after releasing the power button, Two mode lights will light up, hi and power indicators will light too, indicating that the unit is in calibration mode.
Page 10
Rotate the tool so that the X (I) is facing to the target.
Page 11
Press scan mode button to select dot mode. - Press the button so you can see the laser beam at the target wall. Adjust the dot on the target by turning the prism cover manually - Make your reference mark on the target. Rotate instrument 180 degrees with X (II) facing the same target.
Page 12
- Make your second mark on the target. Adjust the beam so that your laser become in to tolerance of the spec by pressing This can also be done via the remote control. After adjustment is complete , press and hold slop Button to save the setting (preferable to use the remote control).
Page 13
After saving the changes, restart the unit, check the X –axis for accuracy. - Note: you should calibrate your instrument again if accuracy is out of spec.

Calibration Z axis: • Place the instrument on the vertical application to calibrate Z-axis. (Unit has support feet, so it's clearer for the end user and for us how to set up!) • Press and hold Slope button then press Power button Release slope button 2 sec after releasing the power button, Two mode lights will light up, hi and power indicators will light too, indicating that the unit is in calibration mode.

Page 23
Z axis: Level the N24 with help of the Tribrach...
Page 24
Z axis The optical level should be placed between the tripod and the wall (at least 12m), ideal would be halfway, almost in line with the laser beam , but not where it blocks the beam.
Page 25
Z axis Tape a piece of paper across the top of the lasers unit rotary head, so the laser beam creates a dot on the paper. The head should be not spinning during this step...
Page 26
Z axis Adjustment: Adjust the elevation of the Optical Auto Level so that the horizontal cross-hair is lined up exactly on the center of the dot at the laser unit. DANGER: NEVER LOOK TROUGH AN OPTICAL LEVEL DIRECTLY AT A LASER SOURCE. SERIOUS EYE INJURY COULD RESULT !!
Page 27
Z axis Remove the paper from the laser rotary head, so that the beam can project a red dot on the far wall. Make a mark.
Page 28
Z axis Rotate the optical level around so that the laser can project a dot with the cross hair on the graph paper mounted on the wall. Measure the difference between first mark and de horizontal cross hair. This will give you the amount of calibration error of the laser unit’s Z axis.
Page 29
Z axis Measure how far the centre of the red dot is above or below the cross-hair. This is the amount of calibration error of the lasers Z axis.
After Calibration: Wijzig nog foto met originele verpakking TEST 2helpu.com Points of attention: Put the laser in his original package or use another shock-absorbing package. • Include the conformity attest or the new calibration certificate. •...
