22. Always ensure that your work is on the table. Never use the tool to cut pieces that are not on the table. 23. Do not place your hands in awkward positions where one or both may slip suddenly and touch the saw blade.
Always use the saw blade guard and riving knife for every operation, including through sawing. Through sawing operations are those in which the blade cuts completely through the workpiece when ripping or crosscutting. Always hold the work firmly against the miter gauge or rip fence. Never perform any operation “free hand”.

ATTACHING THE PULL HANDLE Locate handle onto body. Fix handle using cross head screws supplied. Tighten until firmly secure. ATTACHING THE FEET Locate the plastic feet on each corner of the base. Fix feet using the screw, spring and flat washers supplied. Tighten screw until feet are firmly secure.

USING THE SAW FOR RIP CUTTING Lock the motor unit into the rip lock position using the slide lock knob. Adjust the rip fence by sliding it to the correct depth and lock in position using the lock knob. Ensure that the anti kickback device is lowered, or in the active position.
CUTTING A NARROW WORKPIECE Longitudinal cuts in a workpiece smaller than 5" in width must always be made with the help of the push stick. WARNING: Worn or damaged push sticks must be replaced immediately. CUTTING AN EXTREMELY NARROW WORKPIECE Longitudinal cuts in an extremely narrow workpiece with a width of 1-1/4"...
CHANGING THE BLADE WARNING: Switch the tool OFF and unplug from the power source. Wear work gloves. Lock the unit with the lock pin into the runner. Undo the screw on the blade access cover and rotate it out of the way, then hold in the spindle lock. Using the hex key supplied, turn the blade bolt in an anti- clockwise direction.
Maintenance WARNING: Always ensure that the tool is switched off and the plug is removed from the power point before making any adjustments or maintenance procedures. Store the tool, instruction manual and accessories in a secure place. In this way you will always have all the information.
