NFN Gateway-2 Operation Viewing or Changing Node Mapping 4.8 Viewing or Changing Node Mapping Node Mapping allows the user to map nodes that are active on the NOTI-FIRE-NET network to the NFN Gateway-2. Node mapping is similar to filtering in that if a node is mapped in the NFN Gateway-2, then the Workstation will communicate with that node.
Resetting the Gateway Hardware NFN Gateway-2 Operation 4.9 Resetting the Gateway Hardware Click on Reset Hardware to reboot the ONYXWorks. During the process of rebooting the NFN Gateway-2 will temporarily leave the network and it will not communicate during the reboot process.
Section 5 ONYXWorks Workstation Operation The ONYXWorks provides communication between NOTI-FIRE-NET devices and the ONYXWorks™ system. When an event occurs on a NOTI-FIRE-NET network being monitored by NFN Gateway-2, the event displays in the New Events area on the Workstation’s display. Each NOTI-FIRE-NET device is recognized by its own unique device ID on the Workstation’s display.
