To mount into wall studs
Included for mounting:
1. Find studs in wall. Studs are typically 16" (40 cm) apart.

IMPORTANT: Before drilling into any wall ensure no
electrical cables are present in the area.
Note:
The mounting hardware included is intended for mounting the heater on 3/8" to 5/8" (10 – 16mm) drywall affixed to wood or metal studs. For your convenience the wall mount
brackets are 16" (40 cm) on center to align with 2 studs. Not all studs will be 16" (40 cm) on center. If you are not able to align with studs, toggle bolts are provided. For other wall types,
please consult a professional or visit your local hardware store to determine which type of hardware is best for your particular wall.

OpERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• T here may be an odor coming from the heater the
first time you use it. This is normal during the break-in
period. Make sure the heater is in a well ventilated area

and continue running it until the smell goes away.
• Y ou may hear a popping or crackling sound as the
heater heats up. This is normal and safe operation.
• T he Fireplace Heater can be operated by using the
remote control (Fig. 1) or the control panel (Fig. 2)
located on the top of the unit.

• P lace the heater on a firm, level surface or mount on
wall.

Power On/Off
Turn Power ON. LCD and Power Light will illuminate. The
units default settings are: Temperature 80°; Timer OFF;

Flame Brightness HIGH; Sound ON.
Thermostat
• P ress Thermostat button until desired temperature level
appears on LCD Display. It is recommended to start by

setting the temperature to the highest setting. When
your room reaches the desired comfort level, lower the

thermostat until the heat stops and thermostat light
turns off. Note: the fan will continue to run for flame
operation.

• T he system now maintains the selected comfort level
by automatically turning the heater ON and OFF. The

Thermostat light cycles ON and OFF with the heater
element as it maintains the programmed temperature.
• W hen LCD reads 00 the heat will turn off but the fan will

continue to run for flame operation.
Timer

You can set the timer to automatically turn the unit off.
Press the Timer button, select between 1 and 12 hours.
Your selection will then be displayed on the LCD.
Flame Brightness

There are four flame brightness settings: HIGH, MEDIUM,
LOW, OFF. Press button to select desired brightness.
Sound
Press Sound button to adjust 4 sound levels or turn
crackling sound on or off.
Fahrenheit/Celsius
Press to show temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

To mount into drywall
Use toggle bolts for 3/8 - 5/8" (10 – 16 mm) thick drywall.
1. C ut Mounting Template on dotted line and tape onto wall. Use level to make
sure template is level and mark wall with a sharp object such as an awl.
2. D rill 3/8" (10 mm) holes at top and bottom of bracket guide in center of studs.
3. A - A lign bolts, through bracket holes then thread on Spring Loaded Wings.
B - C ollapse Wings while pushing through hole in wall.
C - P ull bolt out to secure Toggle Wings against inside of wall (wings spring
open on other side of wall and securely hold bolt and bracket).
D - Screw bolt in until tight.
