    Type and purpose of the appliances The ELRO ceramic hob, the modern cooking appliance equipped with infra-red and induction heat sources. The ELRO gas range, a further asset to the Island Cooking System series 500, with built-in automatic electric ignition for easy one-handed operation.

A possible fault current protection switch should be calculated in such a way that the kW connection load amounts to 2mA with regard to its release current (part 2 EN60335).     According to the installation plan, mark first the two bore holes on the plinth of the appliance, which has to be mounted on the right or on the left. We recommend to use the appropriate bore hole templates (see above chart) and in this case to observe a recess of 20 mm between the lateral outer edge of the appliance and the plinth.

    2.6.8 Installation of the 400 mm hob module on the wall The following description refers to the drawings 8, 9 and 10. Firstly measure the appliances; i.e. the contours have to be marked exactly on the finished plastered or tiled wall.     2.7.2 Adjustment / conversion The ELRO cooking range of the series 500 has been adjusted, in accordance with the order, to a certain gas type and a connecting pressure. These values can be gathered from the type plate on the right hand side below in the front (see chapter 1.5.1).
  • Page 21 In countries with natural gas of the group H the adjustment tube for primary air of this appliance may not be changed. If an appliance which has been adjusted in this way has to be changed to natural gas the conversion may only be carried out by an engineer authorised by ELRO-WERKE AG or by the ELRO after- sales service.
