OPERATION
Charge times are 2 to 3 hours from empty with a standard 650 W charger on a single battery. If charging
two batteries in the system with the charger, the charge time is doubled.
Connecting the walkie pallet jack to a charger when not in use increases machine productivity and extends
runtime and lithium battery lifetime. The DLP-GC2-24V lithium battery is designed for regular opportunity
charging.
The external ON/OFF button turns the battery ON and OFF. If the walkie pallet jack is being stored or is
waiting for deployment, make sure the battery is turned OFF until the walkie pallet jack is put into use.
Both the battery and walkie pallet jack draw small amounts of power, which slowly discharges the battery.
Turning the battery off reduces the rate of discharge.
The BDI gauge provides useful information for the operator, such as when the battery is charging. This
information is helpful for identifying unplugged AC power cords, tripped breakers, and so on.
