  • Page 7 INSTRUCTIONS This manual is intended to help you become familiar with your vehicle. We therefore invite you to read it carefully before using your vehicle for the first time. In these instructions, you will find most of the answers to questions you may have about the operation of any equipment.

    GENERAL DIMENSIONS Depending on the model acquired, the dimensions of your vehicle will be the following: Panama Peak 12: 5’05 x 2’06 x 2’06 (meters).   • Page 14 USE OF SEA T BEL TS Your vehicle has a number of authorised passenger seats, which is stated on the vehicle registration certificate.     EMERGENCY EXITS AND DETECTORS Check the position and operation of all exits (normal doors, sliding doors and tailgate). Ensure that all exits are freely accessible at all times. For safety reasons, a smoke detector and a CO2 detector have been installed in the interior of the vehicle’s pop-up roof.

    GAS CIRCUIT Pressure power supply regulator Butane gas cylinder (2.75kg) ST ART-UP AND INST ALLA TION Your vehicle is designed to integrate a 2.75 kg G907 butane gas cylinder (not included). This is connected to a regulator (included) that supplies gas to the system with a pressure of 30 mbar and a flow rate of 1.5 kg/h.
  • Page 27 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS All gas equipment must be turned off when the vehicle is in motion unless the gas equipment installed has been designed for on the road use and the en-route heating must comply with UNECE Regulation 122. Shut off the gas outlet of the gas cylinder before any movement. Never obstruct the safety ventilation, not even partially.

    The 230 V current supplies the interior sockets and the battery charger. These devices are protected by a 230 V (16 A) thermal and differential circuit breaker, located in a compartment of the cabinet, together with the fuse box and the battery charger.     CONTROL PANEL This is located in the cabinet itself. It allows you to manage the different electrical equipment in your vehicle and to control various parameters related to the proper functioning of the passenger compartment. Not all indicators will light up if the 230V socket is not connected.

    Make sure that all appliances are in the OFF position before replacing a fuse. The replacement should be done with a fuse of the same amperage, but it is important to determine why the fuse has blown before replacing it. Never replace a fuse with a metal object or attempt to repair it yourself.

    GAS COOKER HOW TO USE Only use the hob burners when the roof is raised. To start and use the hob burners, turn the gas cylinder tap from the closed position to the maximum position in an anti-clockwise direction. Press the key and leave it in the desired position. Light the burner by pressing the knob at the same time as you turn it to open the gas outlet.

    FOOD PRESERVATION Start the refrigerator 12 hours before filling it and, if possible, only store food that is already cold. Always store food in closed containers or wrapped in aluminium foil. Never store hot food, let it cool down beforehand. Do not store food that may give off volatile and flammable gases.

    DOOR LOCKING The refrigerator is equipped with a locking mechanism which also serves as protection during transport. Do not change the locking mechanism unless the door is open. The appliance may be damaged if used with the door closed.
  • Page 40 ROOF The pop-up roof installed in your vehicle allows you to stand comfortably inside the vehicle as well as having a comfortable bed for two adults. It should only be operated when the vehicle is parked and is designed for a maximum weight of 175 kg.
  • Page 41 The pop-up roof has three windows to the outside, all of which have mosquito nets to keep insects out. The opening zips allow you to regulate the ventilation and lighting. When the zip is fully opened, the blackout fabric must be rolled up and secured with the Velcro fasteners at the bottom of each window to prevent it from being pinched by the bed.
  • Page 42 OPENING THE POP-UP ROOF With the vehicle parked and the handbrake applied, open the side sliding door, or, alternatively, a cabin window to its maximum opening to allow air to enter, as opening the roof will draw in outside air. Open the safety locks.
  • Page 43 CLOSING THE POP-UP ROOF The space between the pop-up roof and the mattress on which you sleep is minimal, so no objects such as pillows, duvets, sleeping bags, clothes, etc. should be between the ceiling and the mattress, especially in the area opposite the safety catches.

    HEA TING OPERATION The heating system, located under the vehicle, runs on diesel fuel. It is supplied directly by the fuel tank and converts the cold air entering the Cold air inlet and passenger compartment into warm air. The warm hot air outlet air is then redistributed through vents located in various places in the passenger compartment.
  • Page 45 FAULTS Any malfunctions will be indicated by a flashing light code on the control display. Switch the heater off and then on again. Check the condition of the battery, fuses and connections. Check that the combustion air and flue gas pipes are not blocked. If the fault cannot be rectified, the system must be checked by qualified personnel.
  • Page 46 Recline the backrests forward to a completely horizontal position using the red lever at the bottom of the backrests. Next, unfold the mattress behind the backrests over the previously extended part of the seats. Finally, unfold the rear complement to its horizontal position using the strap located on top of it.

MOVING THE BENCH SEAT It is recommended to travel with the bench seat in a position close to the front. To move the bench seat, simply lift the lower lever to unlock it and move the seat to the desired position.
  • Page 48 INDIVIDUAL SEA T If you have purchased a seat like the one in the picture, you should know that to remove or move it, you must first turn the metal lock 90° clockwise and then loosen the knob by turning it in the same direction. To lock it, simply do the opposite process, first turn the knob anti-clockwise and then turn the lock in the same direction.

    W A TER To prevent any damage due to mould or ice, it is imperative that the water circuit is completely drained. DRAINING FRESH WATER Turn off the power supply from the control panel. Open the fresh water drain valve. Open all taps until no more water flows out to ensure complete draining.
  • Page 51 A residual current consumption persists when your vehicle is immobilised. To avoid an deep discharge, it is imperative to: Either disconnect the batteries if a 230 V connection is impossible, and store them at room temperature. Recharge the batteries once a month for 24 hours. Or keep them inside the vehicle if a 230 V connection is possible.
  • Page 52 TEXTILES MATTRESSES AND CUSHIONS Remove mattresses and cushions regularly to air them and avoid the risk of mould and mildew. To remove dust, shake the cushions and mattresses outside the vehicle. In case of stains, do not use aggressive stain removers such as petrol or acetone, but rather use a suitable product (test on an inconspicuous area first).

    The following is a non-exhaustive list of the different faults that can occur in the various devices in your vehicle, and the possible causes. If everything seems normal, and if the problem persists, contact your dealer’s after-sales service. For safety reasons, and in order for the guarantee to apply, any modification to the installations, in particular water, gas, electricity, must be carried out by your dealer.

    GAS INST ALLA TION IF ONE OR MORE GAS APPLIANCES DO NOT WORK The gas cylinder stopcock is closed. The gas cylinder is empty. Check the piezo igniter. It is important to make sure that there are no leaks in the gas circuit. The presence of gas can be identified by smell or by applying soapy water to the joints of the gas connections.
