Stecken Sie das USB-Netzteil in eine 230 V-Netzsteckdose. Öffnen Sie die Abdeckkappe von der USB-Ladebuchse am Akkupack. Stecken Sie den USB-C-Stecker vom Ladekabel in die USB-C- Ladebuchse vom Akkupack.

Page 8: Gerät Ein-/Ausschalten
Gerät ein-/ausschalten Durch Drücken der -Taste lässt sich das Gerät ein-/ausschalten. Mit dem Einschalten ertönt ein dreifacher Quittungston und der zuletzt eingestellte Kanal wird angezeigt. Beim Ausschalten ertönt ein zweifacher Quittungston. LED-Display Das Display wird eingeschaltet, wenn Sie ein Signal empfangen, senden oder eine Taste drücken. - Page 9 Pilotton-Verfahren CTCSS und DCS Das Funkgerät verfügt über zwei Pilottonverfahren (CTCSS mit 38 verschiedenen Tönen und DCS mit 83 Digitalcodes), mit denen Sie gezielt einzelne Geräte oder Gruppen ansprechen bzw. nur von diesen Geräten Rufe empfangen können. Wichtiger Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie und Ihre Partner- station/en dasselbe Pilottonverfahren und denselben CTCSS-Ton bzw.
- Page 10 VOX deaktivieren Drücken Sie 2x die MENÜ-Taste im Display, blinkt die eingestellte Empfindlichkeitsstufe. Wählen Sie mit der -Taste OF aus. Bestätigen Sie mit der PTT-Taste. Hinweis:Der Buchstabe im Display erlischt, die VOX-Funktion ist deaktiviert. Roger Beep Wenn Sie nach dem Senden die PTT-Taste loslassen, wird automatisch noch ein Signalton gesendet.
- Page 11 Monitorfunktion deaktivieren Die Rauschsperre ist so lange überbrückt, bis Sie kurz die MON/ Taste erneut drücken. Automatischer Suchlauf (Scan) Der Kanal-Suchlauf wird benutzt, um schnell aktive Kanäle zu finden. Er tastet selbständig alle 16 Kanäle ab und stoppt, sobald ein Signal die Squelch-Schwelle überschreitet.
- Page 12 Übertragung Wenn das Slave-Gerät die Daten vom Mastergerät empfängt, leuchtet die Betriebs-LED beim Slave-Gerät grün. Wenn die Datenübertragung erfolgreich war, wird das Slave-Gerät automatisch neu gestartet. Drücken Sie die PTT-Taste beim Master-Gerät, um den Kopplungsmodus zu beenden. Ohrhörer-VOX-Mikrofon Aktivieren Sie die VOX-Funktion (siehe Bedienungsanleitung, Seite 9).

Apart from the statutory trans- mitting power other factors are relevant: e.g. the position of the antenna (it should be installed at right angle and send freely), the energy supply (fully charged battery packs fully exploit the reach) and above all the environment where you transmit. -

Selecting the channel There are 16 channels available (see channel frequency table). Press the -key and select an empty channel. Note: Always set the same channel on both radios. Receiving When switched on, the radio is ready to receive (provided it is not currently transmitting). - Page 23 VOX function (verbal transmission) This function permits to send without pushing the transmit key: Voices/noises which hit the microphone switch on the transmitter of the radio set. Adjust the sensitivity according to the environmental noises, and the set switches from reception to transmission if your voice volume is appropriate.

To deactivate, push the -key again for 4 seconds; the symbol expires on the display. Wireless Pairing By cloning device data, you can quickly and easily program additional handheld radios to your personal settings. The master device is the data transmitter and the slave device is the data receiver. - Page 26 Keep the battery contacts clean by the means of a dry cloth. Remove the battery pack, if you do not use your devices for a longer period. Protect the accessories against humidity/moistness, dust/contamination, strong vibrations and extreme temperatures.
