Option A.
Connect from your
Multi-Channel Receiver,
a 1 RCA to 1 RCA lead
(not supplied) connecting into
either L or R (these are
paralleled internally) "LOW
LEVEL INPUT" socket on
SPX-17 amplifier (as shown)

Option B.
Connect from your existing
amplifiers' left and right
speaker lead outputs, to
speaker lead connections
on SPX-17 marked
"HI LEVEL IN"
(speaker leads not supplied).
"HI LEVEL OUT"
can then connect to Front
speakers to deliver Bass -
reduced frequencies, or "piggy-
backing" from your amplifiers'
speaker lead outputs to your
main speakers for full frequency.
Where should I set Level & Frequency Control Knobs ??
Once you have your SPX-17 positioned and connected, we suggest experimenting with the Level
Control knob and Frequency Control knob to suit the Volume and depth of Bass desired. Initially,
for Hi-Fi listening, try setting the
Control at 70Hz.
boost Bass information 70Hz and below – which is deep, deep Bass at a strong (but not
overpowering) level. For Home Theatre listening (movies), increase the
o'clock
and lower the
SPX-17 Connections.
Connecting from Prologic, AC-3 or
Dolby Digital 5.1 or 6.1 channel receiver.
Connecting from a Stereo amplifier.
Level Control at 11 o'clock
This is the most popular setting. This setting will
