INSTALLATION
USING SOLAR PANEL (OUTDOOR USE)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SOLAR CHARGING USE
• When picking a place to install your Rope Lights, choose a location with maximum sun
exposure during the day.
• Make sure to leave the unit under direct sunlight for solar charging at least 5-6 hours.
• Avoid areas under trees or bushes as this will prevent a proper charge of the Rope Lights.
• When using the Rope Lights in the fall and winter, please note that due to fewer
daylight hours, the batteries might not charge fully. This may affect the amount of
time the Rope Lights will be on.
IMPORTANT: Before mounting the stake into the ground,
please make sure that the soil is softened by adding water.
Hard soil may damage or break the stake.

CHARGING SOLAR PANEL VIA USB PORT
NOTE: If there aren't enough sunlight to power up the solar panel, you can charge the solar
panel using the provided charging cable. Do not leave the charging port and cable outside
unprotected from wet conditions.

1. Remove the charging port cover.
2. Insert one end of the cable into the charging port.
3. Connect the USB end into the power adapter (not included).
4. Indicator light will light up red, indicating that the solar panel
is charging. It should take approx. 3 hours to fully charge it.
5. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green. Unplug
the cable once fully charged. Working time is up to 15 hours
(when fully charged).
USING USB PORT (INDOOR USE)
PLUG AND PLAY FEATURE
Keep the cable connected to the solar panel for uninterrupted light.
1. Remove the charging port cover.
2. Insert one end of the cable into the charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to power (2 ways):
a. Insert the USB end into the power adapter (not included).
b. Insert the USB end into any USB port (computer, laptop, etc.).
4. While plugged in, the solar panel will begin to charge. Indicator light will light up red,
indicating that the solar panel is charging. It should take approx. 3 hours to fully charge it.
5. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green. You can unplug the charging cable
once fully charged. Working time is up to 15 hours (when fully charged).
6. For the Rope Lights to work indoors, flip the solar panel face down.
