FIS FIBER OPTIC THERMAL STRIPPER
Congratulations on the purchase of the new fiber optic thermal stripper. This product is optimized
to remove 900um or 250um buffer from one or two fibers at once or ribbon fiber in preparation of
cleaving a fiber for mechanical or fusion splicing. This tool is fast and great for new technicians.
1. Features a rugged all-metal body increasing the durabiity in the field or cable assembly shop.
2. Built-in rechargable lithium battery makes tool portable for many fiber optics applications.
3. Onboard (8) temperature level heating modes accommodate a variety for different buffer and
fanout kit furcation compounds to optimize fiber stripping environment and needs.
4. Fiber alignment tray squares buffer to blade for straight removal of jacket for connectorization.
5. Strip multiple fibers, standard tray can strip 2 fibers, optional ribbon alignment tray available.
