    ASSEMBLY The HYDRO 60 & 72 Mower will attach to most tractors with Cat. ll Hitch and 540 PTO RPM. DEALER SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS Assembly of this mower is the reponsibility of the Alamo dealer. The mower should be delivered to the owner completely assembled, lubricated, and adjusted for normal cutting conditions.

    1. Attach the Tail Wheel (1) to the Mower Deck with 1/2 x 6-1/2 bolt (3) and 1/2 x 3-3/4 bolt (2) retain with 1/2 locknuts (4). Tighten all capscrews per torque chart in Maintenance section.     Mower where there is a possible hazard. Read and make sure you understand the safety messages before you operate the HYDRO 60 & 72. Keep all decals clean and readable. Replace lost or damaged decals.

    Severe or unusual conditions may require more frequent lubrication. LUBRICATION The HYDRO 60 & 72 must be serviced daily to achieve the best operation and longest life. Good quality grease from a hand grease gun in all grease fittings should be sufficient. FIGURE 1.

    They do not apply if special graphited or molydisulphide greases or other extreme pressure lubricants are used. This applies to both UNF fine and UNC coarse threads.   • Page 42 Install the bearing, then install the seal approximately 1/4" from the top. Place the retaining ring in the housing on top of the seal.
