SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS These general safety norms cover both arc welding machines and plasma cu琀�ng machines unless otherwise noted. The user is responsible for installing and opera琀椀ng the equipment in accordance with the enclosed instruc琀椀ons. It is important that users of this equipment protect themselves and others from harm, or even death. The equipment must only be used for the purpose it was designed for. -

Wear an approved welding helmet 昀椀琀琀ed with an appropriate shade of •... - Page 6 SAFETY INSTRUCTION Safety against fumes and welding gases The HSE have iden琀椀昀椀ed welders as being an ‘at risk’ group for occupa琀椀onal diseases arising from exposure to dusts, gases, vapours and welding fumes. The main iden琀椀昀椀ed health e昀昀ects are pneumonia, asthma, chronic obstruc琀椀ve pulmonary disease (COPD), lung and kidney cancer, metal fume fever (MFF) and lung func琀椀on changes.
- Page 7 SAFETY INSTRUCTION The working environment Ensure the machine is mounted in a safe and stable posi琀椀on allowing for cooling air circula琀椀on. Do not operate equipment in an environment outside the laid down opera琀椀ng parameters. The welding power source is not suitable for use in rain or snow. Always store the machine in a clean, dry space.

Cu琀�ng or welding sealed containers, tanks, drums or pipes can cause explosions. Sparks from the welding or cu琀�ng process can cause 昀椀res and burns. Check and risk assess the area is safe before doing any cu琀�ng or welding.

OPERATION OF THE WIRELESS FOOT PEDAL REMOTE CONTROL Wireless connec琀椀on Depending on the model and user interface of your EVO model the below instruc琀椀ons may di昀昀er, please refer to your EVO product opera琀椀ng manual for further instruc琀椀ons.
