Installation and operation Installation and operation Installation Unpacking / Positioning • Unpack the appliance, remove all external and internal packaging elements and shipment safeguards. CAUTION! Choking hazard! Prevent children from accessing package materials, for instance: plastic bags and EPS. • If the appliance is covered with a protective film, remove it. - Page 16 Installation and operation • Never place the appliance in the direct vicinity of walls, masonry, kitchen furniture, or other objects. Make sure there is enough distance (at least 30 cm) from walls and other flammable or prone to discolouration objects. Follow the valid fire protection regulations.

Installation and operation Operation Before First Use 1. Before use, clean the appliance observing the instructions in section 6 'Cleaning'. 2. Thoroughly clean the appliance with a soft cloth. 3. Plug the appliance into a suitable single socket. 4. Prepare food, as required. Place the required warm food in suitable GN containers or on plates under the infrared lamp(s). Fig. 3 2. Cleaning Cleaning Important Indications • Sugar and sugar-containing products (e.g., jams) and melted plastic must be removed immediately from the hot warming plate with a suitable cleaning scraper. Otherwise it may be damaged while cooling down. • The warming plate should be cleaned regularly. The dirt that has not been removed burn into the surface during next operation and may become permanent. - Page 21 Cleaning Infrared Lamps 1. Infrared lamps should be cleaned regularly. Make sure the appliance is disconnected from the electricity power supply and has cooled down completely.
