2 ZapAI
ZapAI is the artificial Intelligence based chatbot on our website home page. It tries to answer
your question based on the thousands of questions we have already answered and the
knowledge database from our website. It's not as good as a human response but it is available
24x7. Give it a try. On our website click on the image that looks like this orange blurb. After
you type your question, give it about 30 seconds to think.

Since we launched ZapperBox in July 2022, we have developed an extensive list of useful

4 Video Tutorials
We have created an extensive list of video tutorials showing you how to use various
features of the ZapperBox. This is our primary method for instructing users on how to
use the complex Tuner/DVR/Gateway software used by ZapperBox. Please scan the QR

  • Page 2: Remote Control

    Power Key This red power key puts the ZapperBox in Standby Mode. This does not power off the box. In standby mode the HDMI output is turned off. However, the tuners, CPU, Wi-Fi and Ethernet stay on.
  • Page 3 DVR requires at least 128 GB of external storage. Storage for DVR is not included with your ZapperBox purchase. The DVR menu allows you to see recordings on all shared ZapperBox devices on your home network. Some advanced DVR features are only available if you subscribe to 14-day guide data.

    Use this Ethernet jack to connect your ZapperBox M1 to the Internet using a wired Ethernet connection. 9.1.4Wi-Fi antenna External Wi-Fi antenna. The ZapperBox M1 has a second internal antenna too. The dual antennas provide better Wi-Fi performance. 9.1.5 DC Connect the included power supply to this input.
  • Page 5 11 Connecting to Wi-Fi If you are connecting to the Internet via Wi-Fi, do not connect the ZapperBox to the wired Ethernet network. If the Ethernet cable is plugged in when attempting to connect to the Wi-Fi, the ZapperBox will attempt to connect, then display an error that the Wi-Fi network connection attempt failed.
