  • Page 6 - PA G E 3 - STEP ONE If you are using Fronteriors side panels, attach these first before starting with the doors. Working with one panel at a time, align the side panels so that the top, back and bottom edges align flush with the IKEA frame.
  • Page 7 - PA G E 4 - STEP TWO Use clamps to hold the side panel against the side of the IKEA frame for proper installation. We recommend using a cloth or applicable protection in between the clamp and the frame to prevent panels from scratching.
  • Page 8 - PA G E 5 - STEP THREE Using the frame’s pre-made holes for shelves and following the numbered holes in both the frontand back of the frame as illustrated, screw in the 30mm / 1 3/16” screws from the inside until the screws grip the side panel tightly.
  • Page 9 - PA G E 6 - STEP FOUR Once the side panels are fixed on the Pax frames, you can install the internal components like shelves,drawer rails, etc. Please be sure to mark the guide hole locations for the door hinges before addingthe internals to avoid any clashes.
  • Page 10 - PA G E 7 - STEP FIVE DOORS Our doors have pre-drilled holes where the hinge will be attached. Using a screwdriver, fix the hinge firmly to the door.
  • Page 11 - PA G E 8 - STEP SIX Once the hinges are attached properly into the Fronteriors door, align the door to the cabinet frame and check the illustration for the location of the holes where the hinge mounting plate will attach.
  • Page 12 NOTE Fronteriors fillers are produced in standard width/heights and need to be cut to size on site. Where necessary, our filler pieces are accompanied by a wooden batten which functions as a bracket to easily attach the filler to t he side of the frame.
  • Page 13 - PA G E 1 0 - STEP EIGHT Before cutting, we recommend using a strip of masking tape on the area of the filler where you will cut. This helps to avoid any paint chips.
  • Page 14 - PA G E 1 1 - STEP NINE The front of the filler should align with the front of the door, not the front of the frame. The filler also aligns to bottom of the Pax frame. It should touch the floor.

    - PA G E 2 6 - HINGE ADJUSTMENT Use the illustration above to adjust your doors up/down, in/out or left/right. If you have chosen for a Fronteriors top, only adjust the hinges when the top has been installed.

    - PA G E 2 7 - HARDWARE KNOBS Our doors do not have pre-drilled holes for knobs. Once you have selected the position of your knob(s), drill a guide hole from the front side of the door, using the 4mm / 3/16” drill bit. If you have a piece of scrap wood available, hold it tightly at the back of the door for the drill to continue into.
