This field indicates the primary battery and the module bay battery status.
Date/Time
This field displays current date and time settings.
This field displays the sequence of devices the computer attempts to boot from:
Diskette or USB floppy disk drive
Internal hard drive
Boot
Onboard or USB CD-ROM drive
Sequence
CD/DVD/CD-RW drive detected
Any other bootable add-in devices detected (listed in the order they are detected, with Onboard
Network Controller usually being detected first such as the modular bay hard drive, cardbus NIC, D-
Dock PCI slot NIC, and the onboard NIC)

The Onboard Devices group contains options and settings related to integrated system devices. Depending

This field enables or disables the onboard LAN controller.
Integrated

This field determines how the parallel port on the docking station operates.

This field lets you enable and disable the PC Card slot and the 1394 device.
PC Card™
and 1394
Default setting: Enabled
You can set the NIC to On (default), Off, or On w/ PXE. When the On w/ PXE setting is active (available
only for the future boot process), the computer prompts you to press <Ctrl><Alt><B>. Pressing this key
combination causes a menu to display that allows you to select a method for booting from a network

server. If a boot routine is not available from the network server, the system attempts to boot from the next

device in the boot sequence list.

This field enables or disables the onboard audio controller.

This field enables and disables the integrated USB Controller. Settings are Off, On, and No Boot.

This field selects the mode of operation for the integrated parallel port. The settings are as follows:
Off — Disables the port.
AT — Configures the port for IBM.
PS/2 — Configures the port for IBM.
LPT Port
EPP — Enhanced parallel port protocol.
Mode
ECP — Extended capability port protocol.
Default setting: PS/2
This option sets the address the built-in parallel port uses. The settings are 378h, 278h, and 3BCh.

This field enables or disables the integrated legacy PS/2-compatible mouse controller. The settings are Off
and On.
PS/2 Mouse
