NAVIGATING

DISP - change screen display
ISO - set sensitivity based on brightness
- (Exposure Comp) adjust exposure and brightness
- (Drive Mode) switch between shooting methods

  • select SHOOTING MODE
  • scroll through mode options
  • press to make selection

APERTURE SETTING / F-STOP

  • press MENU button

  • select SHOOTING MODE
  • scroll through mode options
  • select A for aperture setting

ISO

FOCUS MODE

  • press MENU button
  • select CAMERA SETTINGS

  • select FOCUS MODE

(Single-shot AF) For stationary subjects.
(Continuous AF) For moving subjects.
(DMF) Camera auto selects for stationary or moving subject

FOCUS AREA

  • press MENU button
  • select CAMERA SETTINGS
  • scroll through list
  • select FOCUS AREA
  • scroll through settings
  • press to make selection
WIDE focuses automatically on a subject
ZONE select a zone on the monitor on which to focus
CENTER focuses automatically on a subject in the center of the image
FLEXIBLE SPOT able to select a desired point on the screen

SETTING FOCUS POINT MANUALLY


Rotate the focus ring for sharp focus.

  • press MENU button
  • select CAMERA SETTINGS
  • scroll through list
  • select FOCUS MODE
  • select MANUAL FOCUS
  • scroll through settings
  • press to make selection

CONTINUOUS SHOOTING MODE

  • press MENU button
  • select CAMERA SETTINGS
  • scroll through list
  • select DRIVE MODE
  • scroll through settings
  • press to make selection
Single Shooting shoots one still image
Cont. Shooting shoots images continuously while shutter is held down.
Spd Priority Cont. shoots images continuously at high speed while shutter is held down.
Self-timer shoots an image after 2 or 10 seconds
Self-timer (Cont) shoots image continuously after 10 seconds

SELF-TIMER MODE

  • press MENU button
  • select CAMERA SETTINGS
  • scroll through list
  • select DRIVE MODE
  • scroll through settings
  • select SELF-TIMER
  • press to make selection

Self-timer: 10 sec
- when the shutter button is pressed, the self-timer lamp flashes and beeps until the shutter operates. To cancel the self-timer, press the shutter button again.

Self-timer: 2 Sec
- sets the 2-second delay self-timer. This reduces the camera-shake caused by pressing the shutter button.
