- Never mix new and old or different types of batteries.
- Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Always remove spent batteries from the toy to avoid the danger of leakage from the battery damaging the product.
- Always remove the batteries if the toy will not be used for a long period of time.
- Do not burn or dispose of spent batteries into the environment. Dispose of them at an appropriate differentiated collection point.
- In the case of leakage, replace the batteries immediately, taking care to clean the battery compartment and to wash your hands, if
they have come into contact with the battery liquid.
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as they might explode.
- The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended, since they could impair the toy's functionality

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

• The playmat is machine washable.
WARNING! Before cleaning the playmat, it is necessary to remove the electronic toy connected to the sun panel to prevent the risk
of damaging the electronic circuit. Do not wash the electronic compartment, the electronic toy or sun shaped plastic panel.
Remove the above components as follows:
- Open the Velcro strap, located at the rear of the sun (diagram E,4), that fixes the electronic toy to the playmat;
- Remove the band from the playmat, pulling in the direction indicated by the arrow (diagram F,1);
- The playmat is machine washable on a gentle cycle with a neutral detergent. Do not bleach. Let dry away from sources of heat. It
s recommended to rinse the toy thoroughly to remove any detergent residues. To ensure maximum hygiene, clean the soft plastic
parts of the toy with a soft damp cloth soaked in sterilizing liquid diluted in water, as indicated for standard cold sterilization.
• When the playmat is dry, replace the electronic toy into position as indicated below:
- Insert the band inside the Velcro opening located at the front of the playmat (diagram G,1);
- To insert the band more easily, use the specific opening located at the rear of the playmat; insert your hand and pull the band
towards you, until it is correctly positioned in the appropriate housing (diagram G,2);
- Close the Velcro opening located at the rear and fasten the sun panel to the playmat with the Velcro strap. Then fasten the upper
part of the sun to the playmat, as indicated in the HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE TOY paragraph of these instructions.
- WARNING! Ensure that the band is inserted correctly, avoiding any twisting whilst inserting it into the appropriate housing. Do not
wet the electronic toy.
• Protect the toy from heat, dust, sand, humidity and water.
This product complies with EU Directive 2002/96/EC.
The crossed bin symbol on the appliance indicates that the product, at the end of its life, must be disposed of separately from
domestic waste, either by taking it to a separate waste disposal site for electric and electronic appliances or by returning it
to your dealer when you buy another similar appliance. The user is responsible for taking the appliance to a special waste disposal
site at the end of its life. If the disused appliance is collected correctly as separate waste, it can be recycled, treated and disposed of
ecologically; this avoids a negative impact on both the environment and health, and contributes towards the recycling of the prod-
uct's materials. For further information regarding the waste disposal services available, contact your local waste disposal agency or
the shop where you bought the appliance.
